Left on the door step without access for almost 3 hours unable to communicate with the host on arrival. Forced to travel back down the mountain 3 separate times to get information. Basically instructed to break in, and someone might show up tomorrow or the next day. Unable to leave and lock up the cabin for three days. All down to a keypad that did not have power, and the host unable to listen to logic. The host chose to talk down to me as if I did not understand instructions, but was unable to understand how none of their instructions worked. Was asked by the host if we were at the wrong location. When explaining the keypad power loss issue, was asked if I was at the front door. The one in front of the driveway, the one facing the street. There was a camera on the front door, and the driveway. The only door on the cabin that was accessible, without a ladder to access the back deck. Simply a horrible arrival with a lot of misinformation, and little to no help when given proof that nothing was working as instructed. When we let them know that we had to leave the cabin without being able to lock the cabin, they didn’t think there would be an issue, so we packed up our vehicle each day and night when needing to go out. The maintenance tech showed up on day three to replace batteries on the keypad, and the tech explained that the host was an after hours service and they really do not know the house or the services available.
