This was an excellent apartment, had everything you could think of and more. Great location, beach club was a great addition. Pool area lovely, plenty of beds and tables.

Wonderful location pool and gardens. Ground floor condo from which you can walk out to the pool. We had a little hiccup with the access but the reception staff were very helpful and it was soon sorted. Condo is well equipped although a little tired in places. Outdoor space is brilliant. Overall a great experience. We would definitely return. Thank you Karen and Chris.

The condo was perfect for the two of us! It was clean, nicely decorated and furnished and the kitchen was well-stocked. The check in and check out process was easy and we loved being on the first floor with easy walk out access to the pool and garden area. I also want to say thank you to the property manager, Anita, for showing us the ropes and to Karen for the Banks beers on arrival and the duty free shopping vouchers, both of which were put to good use! We did not need to rent a vehicle as we took a taxi from the airport and beach club with beach access was within 10 minutes walking distance, along with the grocery store, mall and various other shops/restaurants. We could have gotten away without running the A/C due to the nice ceiling fan in the bedroom, but we ran it about 3 hours a night just to cool things down. Cost is 1 Barbados dollar per hour so maybe 10-15 US for the week, which was well worth it to me! Also had good WiFi access so I could keep up with work demands and connect with loved ones at home. Overall awesome stay and we look forward to returning! Our trip was in July (off season) - main tourist season is October-April. The pool, beach club and beach were empty or had very few people there besides us, so if you don’t like crowds go in the off season. It was gorgeous and we loved the peace and quiet compared to the beaches at home! The water was clear and calm like a pool! We also did an island tour with Wild Barbados which I highly recommend!

Another day in paradise

Second time of staying in this apartment. It is located in an excellent position, near enough to walk to the local supermarket, restaurants, bars & beaches and right next to and on the same level as the communal grounds & pool. So all in all very good.The apartment itself is well appointed, lots of storage & in the kitchen every kitchen utensil you could possibly need. The ventilation is good - by opening most vented windows at either end of the apartments gives a good through draft and additionally there is a tower fan provided, so based on our experience there is no need to use the additional air conditioning (chargeable).Look forward to using it again.

Amazing Stay!!!

This was a great little spot. My partner and I would definitely stay again. The property was ground level with walkout access to the pool which was great for morning swims. Access to the beach club pool was awesome and the beach wasn’t busy at all with beautiful fish for independent snorkeling if you have the gear. The property manager and the hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had and were overall very helpful. The air con was 1 bajan dollar an hour which was needed for this time of year but reasonable in price and worth in for sleeping in the evenings. Finally, the location was perfect; close to local restaurants with great food, the beach, and local shopping centres. Overall a 10/10 stay. A fabulous experience

Lovely apartment

We had an amazing time at the apartment in Sunset Crest. It was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Having direct access to the beautiful garden and pool was perfect. We especially loved the open kitchen which had everything we needed (and lots more). Providing foldable beach chairs to guests is such a great idea, thanks for everything Karen!

A Lovely Stay

I really enjoyed my vacation to Barbados. The condo is just 2 blocks to the beach and the terrace opens to the pool. Loved the well appointed apartment that had a beach chair, umbrella and plenty of towels. Easy check in process and the apartment was clean with plenty of dishes. My only suggestion is instructions for using the electric stove. Only issue was a mirror in the ebedroom that dropped while I was in the bathroom. A bit of a shock and mess but these things happen. Overall a very pleasant stay and highly recommend. Great spot to unwind and relax with fun in the sun !

Another great stay

The rental property is well maintained, clean, well equiped and convenient. Communication was excellent. This was our second stay in this apartment, and our 6th at Golden View. This apartment is one of the better ones we have stayed in.

Gold star for Golden View

Karen and Chris were friendly, helpful and full of excellent information in advance of our stay. Anita, their housekeeper, was charming and efficient. The condo was very well equipped indeed and was spacious, clean and tidy. We had a little trouble with the door lock, but Anita came straightaway to see what the problem was, and got a locksmith to put a new lock on as soon as possible. The pool and garden of the condo building were beautifully maintained, with plenty of sunbeds, and there was a large parking area. It was good to have the aircon in the bedroom, but it did prove a little difficult to source the coins to use! I would have preferred aircon in the living area too, but I do appreciate that might be difficult to achieve. The condo is in an ideal spot - a lovely quiet residential area, but just minutes from shops and restaurants of all prices. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

Great apartment

Property was in very good condition and was well equipped with everything you could need. Also there was lots of beach equipment, chairs umbrella mask and flippers. Anita the property manager was just a phone call away for anything we needed help with . Golden View is ideally situated for easy access to Holetown. We would definitely stay here again .

A wonderful place to stay

The condo is well maintained with lots of little extras to make a stay pleasureable. The property manager, Anita, is extremely helpful and always contactable. The wifi is very good, and we enjoyed watching movies some evenings on HBO which is available in the condo.

10 Day winter sun break

Lovely property in an excellent location, the hosts were really friendly & helpful with directions and local area info. The condo was very well equipped with everything you could want from beach furniture & snorkel to packed lunch boxes and cool box (trolley). The kitchen had every utensil, pot and pan if you wanted to cook and unlike many holiday lets they were in nice condition. The condo has a nice community feel and the pool was well maintained and cleaned daily if you fancied a break from the beach. There was also access to a beach club area 5 min walk or 10 min stroll down the hill. The Sandy Lane golf club is just the other side of the road and ideal for a scenic walk or run in the morning before it gats too hot! Overall a great place for an uncomplicated holiday in the sun, highly recommended

Well Chilled !

We had a super time in Barbados and the apartment was a big part of that. The apartment manager met us and explained how everything worked and also showed us how to maximise the airflow through the apartment to keep it cool. That tip was so good that we did not need to use the air con at all. Being ground floor it was great to be able to wander into the garden from the terrace area, rather than have to take the stairs or lift. The apartment was just what we wanted so it suited us perfectly. It was also in a great location within easy reach of Hometown's bars and restaurants. We took your advice about some of the restaurants and bars to use. We did Just Grillin' as you suggested for our first night and also tried the food truck at Paynes Bay Fish Market - the fish cutters were excellent. The Fishermans pub in Speightstown was good for a cold drink. We also used Cafe Carizma in the Chattel Village and the Mews on 2nd street as well as Surfside on the beach - great for the sunsets. All in all it was an excellent holiday and great apartment - so we were well chilled by the end of it.

Lovely Apartment in a good location

We had another great stay at this apartment - it ticks all the boxes for us - Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and Anita our cleaner was lovely and very helpful. The apartment is in a good location with secure grounds and swimming pool, close to beach, Limegrove shopping mall and supermarket. Apartment also has access to Beach House Club. Communication with the owners is very good - would definitely recommend this apartment.

Home from home in paradise

This was our second stay at this excellent apartment and hopefully won't be our last. We have stayed in 4 apartments in Goldenview and this is our favourite. This is a perfect place to experience Barbados, not only is the apartment refurbished as we would have our own place, it is set in lovely secure grounds not far from the beach and all that Holetown has to offer. The hosts were great communicating with us especially around the covid challenges we all face at the moment. Thanks Chris and Karen

We are a couple both working in the hospitality industry so we strive to give our guests the same experience we would expect on vacation. Karen, was born in Canada while Chris was born in Barbados. We currently reside in Canada but spend time at our home in Barbados whenever we can.

This is our home and we absolutely love it! Chris grew up in Barbados and Karen has traveled there with her parents since she was a small child. Some of my, karen's, fondest childhood memories are of playing on the beach just at the bottom of our street, with my cousins, watching as one or all of us tried to get up on water skis, not always very successfully and later racing one another on jet skis. We are all a little older now but it is still always great when we can experience Barbados and ALL that it offers!

The proximity of the condo to the Sunset Crest Beach Club and the lovely events it holds throughout the season offers an opportunity to participate in the community and its residents and have some fun at the same time. Situated on the beautiful west coast, where one can enjoy the best sunset views on the island, there are many restaurants and bars to do just that! But if you prefer a more private, quiet place to enjoy on your own or with your loved one that too is available in abundance. The sea from the west coast is also the most amazing, gorgeous water to swim in and to explore at your leisure. There are so many beaches to choose from, whether you want to hang out or snorkel or walk or just swim the choices are many!! The shopping in our neighbourhood is unparalleled on the island. A short walking distance away is the Limegrove shopping center, it boasts some amazing high end shops as well as the Lime Bar at its center which hosts nights of music and fun. Limegrove holds the only movie theater on the west coast. On the rooftop of the complex is a restaurant with a fantastic menu and great ambience!
There are also many Chattel house boutiques in the area, showcasing the designs of local and imported talent. All of this is within walking distance of the condo.
