À propos de l’hôte
Hôte : Denise
Hello! We’re Denise and Mark. We’re Colorado natives who grew up skiing and visiting Vail. After 14 years in Texas, we returned home with an even greater appreciation for the mountains.
After vacationing in West Vail for years, we were fortunate to make Alpine Eight Retreat our own. It’s a special place to us, and because we stay here too, we’ve put a lot of thought into making it comfortable, welcoming and well stocked.
We enjoy sharing our home with guests who appreciate the details, settle in and treat it as their own. Most of all, we hope it becomes a place where you can enjoy Vail, relax with the people you love and make memories worth coming back for.
Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement
We love West Vail because it gives us the best of both worlds: easy access to the mountain and Vail Village, with a quieter neighborhood to come home to.
The free Vail bus is a short walk away, while groceries, restaurants and everyday conveniences are just minutes from the house. We also love being able to park steps from the front door and bring groceries and gear directly into the main level—no hauling everything up multiple flights of stairs.
West Vail has a relaxed, residential feel with full- and part-time residents, neighborhood parks, walking and biking paths, Gore Creek and easy access to the outdoors. It feels connected to Vail without being in the middle of the bustle.
Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique
It’s the details that make the difference.
Alpine Eight Retreat is our home too, so we’ve stocked and furnished it the way we want a mountain home to feel—comfortable, thoughtfully equipped and easy to settle into.
You’ll find comfortable mattresses, 700-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, blackout shades, quality towels, Sonos speakers and plenty of coffee choices. The kitchen is equipped for actually cooking, with quality cookware, dishes, glassware and serving pieces—not just the minimum basics you sometimes find in a vacation rental.
We also love the practical details: four free parking spaces steps from the door, main-level entry, a short walk to Vail’s free bus and easy access to the mountain.
Our goal is simple: to have the things you need already here, so you can spend less time thinking about the details and more time enjoying Vail.
