HĂ©bergement privĂ© confortable au cƓur du quartier de Jordaan

La chambre d'hÎtes avec des décorations africaines est située dans une maison de ville construite en 1712, située au coeur du vieux centre-ville 'De Jordaan'.
La chambre et la salle de bain viennent d'ĂȘtre rĂ©novĂ©es. La chambre au sous-sol a un lit queen size confortable et est entourĂ©e de perles africaines. La salle de bain (douche et lavabo) est situĂ©e ensuite, les toilettes privĂ©es sont situĂ©es Ă  l’extĂ©rieur de la chambre, quelques marches plus haut sur le niveau de sĂ©paration.

Le salon du rez-de-chaussĂ©e est ouvert pour que nos clients puissent s’asseoir et se dĂ©tendre, regarder la tĂ©lĂ©vision ou utiliser le WIFI haut dĂ©bit. Les amoureux des chats auront l'occasion de rencontrer et de socialiser notre adorable chat d'Afrique du Sud, Garfield (uniquement sur demande, sinon il sera Ă  l'Ă©tage et ne vous dĂ©rangera pas)

Heaven in Amsterdam

We had a wonderful stay at Ellen and Caesars place. The location is amazing. The place is cute and quaint with very steep stairs so be prepared.Great accommodation!!

We truly enjoyed our visit to Amsterdam and our stay at the African Lily. The hosts were very warm and welcoming and took the time to make sure we were comfortable. The apartment is close to everything and we were able to walk to all of our destinations in the city. We loved staying there and will definitely be back when we are in Amsterdam again.

Perfect location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the African Lily. It was in a great neighborhood only a moments walk away from the busy areas of the city. Both hosts were great to chat with, informative, and easily accessible if needed. The home is a great layout, with everything you may need to enjoy your stay. We plan to visit Amsterdam again, and will definitely be staying there again!

Terrific location in the Jordaan

Everything about the African Lily is just as described— a great apartment, location, and friendly owners, who live upstairs. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, the coffee is plentiful, the entire house tastefully appointed. Caesar and Ellen are great hosts, who love their city and are eager to share their knowledge. Highly recommend!

Amazing spot in Jordaan!

Highly recommend staying here! Ellen was super communicative and accommodating when we arrived and throughout our entire stay. The location was perfect and the entire apartment was very quaint and cozy! A bit of a tight space but my husband and I made it work. Overall, amazing stay!

The flat was exactly as listed. It's an incredibly charming, beautifully decorated home with everything one visiting Amsterdam would want for a short stay. Everything was clean and the communication with Ellen & Caesar was fantastic. They personalized our stay, and made our time in the city so wonderful!

Ellen was a wonderful host. Very helpful with directions, arranging airport car services. The place was spotless and very quiet. Will definitely stay here again. The Jardeen district is so peaceful yet, close enough to paint the town ‘Red’ if you’re into that. Thank you Ellen!!

Perfect stay in Amsterdam!

The African Lily is the perfect place to stay in Amsterdam. I am so glad that we decided to stay there instead of a hotel in the city center. The place is perfect for two people and is within walking distance of everything--cafes, shops, restaurants, museums, etc. Caesar and Ellen are wonderful hosts that are there if you need them. Would highly recommend the African Lily.

Charming, quirky, fascinating place

A well-located apartment with functions on three levels, filled with wonderful African artwork and books. The host is very friendly and helpful. The staircase to his apartment upstairs does look onto the rental apartment’s living room. Cozy bedroom, washer dryer, well appointed kitchen.

Lovely location. Easy to get to the tram. Room has shower attached. Toilet is up 2 small flight of stairs. Ellen and Caesar were excellent hosts! Would stay again.

Beautiful flat with great kitchen

This is a very special place in central Amsterdam. The neighborhood is safe. The flat has numerous special design considerations that reflect the artistic interests of the owners. We loved it! The kitchen is fully-featured and includes concrete counter tops and a six-burner gas oven.

Cozy times in Amsterdam

Ellen and Ceasar have an amazing place in the heart of Amsterdam. The design is very unique, you'll be greeted by hosts, personal welcome note on the door and a bottle of wine. Location is great (Jordaan), communication with Ellen and Ceasar is super easy, they also have a book of recommendations if you need any. We felt so comfortable that at the end of the busy day the best part was staying in and enjoying the evening with a glass of wine and some music in our Amsterdam home.

Exactly what I needed

This is a spacious, clean, apartment for a couple or a single person. The neighborhood is safe, very typical Amsterdam, and within reasonable walking distance of multiple attractions. But it is not located in a crazy touristey area, which I highly valued. There is a lively bar right across the street but, fear not, noise does not make it to the bedroom at all. The kitchen is very well equipped. The hosts are a lovely local couple, always willing to help with anything you need.
