5 Star Generals Retreat est une charmante maison d'hÎtes de 2 chambres / 1 salle de bain élégamment meublée qui se trouve derriÚre la propriété d'origine de notre famille (The Big House) qui a été construite en 1919. Nichée dans un cadre privé avec une allée privée et un parking, cette magnifique propriété de vacances se trouve à seulement 15 minutes à pied de la rue Main Franklin et de tous les sites touristiques, boutiques et restaurants historiques qu'elle a à offrir.

Il y a amplement d'espace extérieur pour courir et profiter de la cuisine et des loisirs en famille. Profitez de la vue de la propriété historique via un porche grillagé et un grand patio extérieur au large de la chambre principale, dont la derniÚre comprend un gril à gaz et des ustensiles de cuisson pour les barbecues.

Generals Retreat propose également une cuisine bien équipée avec service pour 8 personnes, un salon formel confortable avec télévision console et une salle à manger séparée entourée sur trois cÎtés avec des volets de plantation, une laveuse / sécheuse empilable, et bien plus encore.

We really enjoyed our stay at General's Retreat. The accommodations were clean and welcoming. I really appreciated the motion sensitive lights all around the house when I took the dog out at night.

This space was big enough to provide space for work meetings, was within walking distance of the downtown area and had so much space for our dog to run around and explore. They even provided dog bowls for him!

The vacation cottage was very comfortable and we felt very safe.The kitchen was well-furnished with everything we needed. We enjoyed watching TV on the U Tube Channel. Would highly recommend this vacation cottage.

Mark and Damon were wonderful host. They made you feel like you were part of their family. The location was easy walking distance to downtown Franklin. The neighborhood was very safe and friendly. The screened in patio was a favorite place for morning coffee and late evening reading. Their place was very pet friendly and our King Charles cavalier enjoyed the open space. The property was great for our girls weekend! We loved coming back to the property after a day out exploring Franklin. The space is perfect for a family or small group and can comfortably accommodate 5 people. The yard and property begged to be enjoyed. Staying here made our visit more enjoyable and we loved getting to meet Mark and Damon!

Great visit! Beautiful home!

We had such a great time visiting Franklin/Nashville. The home was beautiful! We enjoyed having breakfast every morning, gathering in the living room watching TV and sitting in the sunroom. Highly recommend and we would love to come back. Also, location is perfect for visiting beautiful downtown Franklin! Thanks for a great time and for being such wonderful hosts!

Outstanding Stay - No Reason to Look Elsewhere

Mark was very welcoming. Outstanding property and rental close to everything and within walking distance to downtown. We chose not to walk because of ample (free) parking in the downtown, including at two parking garages. I don’t understand why anyone would give this rental less 5 stars or a 10 rating. Bed was comfortable; water pressure was great; rental was very clean; and it was in a peaceful neighborhood. It rained one evening so my wife and I appreciated the screened in porch as we enjoyed listening to the rain. Plus, the rental has a spare bedroom for those who may need that along with a day bed in the laundry room. Parking was also right outside the front door, which was beneficial. Hope to return!

Wonderful stay in lovely and well kept home

We stayed in Franklin for a horse show at Brownland Farm. My husband, myself and two teenagers (ages 15 and 17). The house was excellent. Beautiful furniture (my kids are old enough to respect the antiques). The neighborhood is gorgeous. The house was an excellent home base for us to enjoy Franklin and the horse show. Such nice hosts
 left banana bread for us to enjoy upon arrival. Would recommend 10/10 stars! Hope to stay again next year.

Franklin Girls Trip

Mr. Mark met us at the car and helped unload our luggage into the cottage. The cottage is so cute and we had more than plenty of room. The neighborhood was a gem. We loved how close we were to all the shops and how quiet it was. We hope to stay there again

Visit to Franklin

The Generals Quarters was located behind a beautiful historic home in a lovely neighborhood. We had everything we needed, and a lot of room to move around. We especially loved the sunny dining area!

Perfect weekend!

This guesthouse was the perfect place for my mother, sister and me as we celebrated our mom's birthday. We had plenty of room and the house is totally charming. We loved having breakfast in the sunroom and relaxing on the screen porch. We struggled with the TV our first night and Damon was right there to help us. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It will be perfect for you too!
