Bienvenue à la maison et à la ferme Henry Connor Bost. Construit en 1869, notre maison a été méticuleusement restaurée et mise à jour. C'est une maison accueillante avec de belles antiquités, des chambres spacieuses, des draps de luxe et de superbes porches parfaits pour lire, siroter ou admirer la vue. Notre propriété se compose de 135 acres privés de pâturages vallonnés, de forêts, de clôtures blanches, d'une piscine creusée et d'un calme et d'une sérénité incroyables. Notre maison est inscrite au registre des lieux historiques nationaux et notre superficie est protégée par le Land Trust of Central North Carolina. Perfect Family Getaway!

Beautiful historic home between Charlotte and Winston Salem! We traveled with 7 adults for an event at Wake Forest University but wanted to find a fun spot to relax around the event. This house was absolutely perfect! Private and secluded, yet easy to travel to/from as needed. Amazing space for family meals and beautiful outdoor pool (and hammocks!) to relax! Thank you so much for sharing this historic property!

Great family party place

Great fun for 70th birthday party. Family of ten slept nicely for the weekend, and 30 people loved the place for the party. The pool was plenty big. The farm is charming: quiet and pretty.

Clean and roomy house for large family. Beds are small (2 queen, 2 full, and 2 twin. All are high off the floor. Would recommend at least1 bed to be lower to better accomodate elderly people. Most bedrooms are large.The house has expected features of a house this old with creaky floors and sound travel. The grounds are nice with a small playhouse and swing for children. We did not use the pool due to cool temperatures.

Absolutely perfect!

This home and property were even larger and more beautiful than I had imagined! The accommodations were perfect and everything in the home is clean and very well maintained. We had 4 families including 9 adults and 6 children and had plenty of space for all... and then some! We’re considering making this an annual trip and would definitely stay in this home again!

Wonderful North Carolina Gem!

I rented this property for an event and it was hands down one of the nicest venues I have ever rented. Beautiful, a great get away for our group. Comfortable, all the amenities you need for a large group or a family. Laurie was a dream to work with and made everything so easy. Any event I have in NC- I would consider this venue. Beautiful grounds, plenty of room, an extra cottage on the property that can be rented for more guests. 100% I will be back!

Forgetting about life for a while

Everything we expected! We wanted a place to stay, unwind, recharge, let loose from life's current challenges. Very private and charming home and property. We had 8 adults and 2 young children. Everyone had their own space. We cooked/grilled every meal. The large pool was our center for fun. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house and awesome place to stay!

Our son and daughter-in-law were married in the area so our family and her family stayed together at the house. We sponsored the rehearsal dinner there. It was perfect. The house is just as advertised, beautiful and roomy. The outside grounds are gorgeous. It was like being at home. Every attention to detail was thought out. Laurie was awesome to work with. She was so helpful and very attentive to all our needs and questions. We highly recommed this property and will most certainly stay there again.

I am one of 7 children. My brothers and sisters and I inherited this amazing place from our parents. I am the farm manager and love every minute of taking care of it! Throughout my life, until I was an adult we lived in town but we spent every weekend with my family on the farm riding horses, planting gardens, playing, etc. In 1993 My father convinced my mother to renovate the house and move here permanently. It is still a special family gathering space we all enjoy.
