A beautiful house but a few things would have been nice to know going in. And maybe they were said and I don’t notice. There is little to no cell service, not enough to send a text, or load maps to get directions. We had problems with the WiFi. The host gave us several different ones to try but we weren’t able to get any of them to work. The house itself is beautiful and in a pretty area, but the drive down to it is crazy, especially at night!

Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear you found the home beautiful and enjoyed the surrounding area. We do understand how limited cell service and WiFi challenges can be frustrating, especially when trying to navigate or stay connected. While the area’s terrain can impact signal, we appreciate you working with us as we tried to assist during your stay, and we’ll continue looking into ways to improve connectivity where possible. We also understand that the drive can feel a bit challenging, particularly at night, and your insight is helpful for future guests to be better prepared. Thank you again for your stay and your honest feedback—we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future!

We actually did NOT end up staying in this particular cabin because once arriving & looking around, there were ants everywhere including IN the beds, under each layer of sheets, etc. (took photos for proof). We understand ants are pesky & get into homes, but all over the beds was unacceptable especially since we had a toddler & infant staying. The cabin clearly hadn’t been recently cleaned or at least checked with the amount of ants all over the entire place. HOWEVER, upon calling Thousand Hills, they were great at getting us into another cabin in the same area or offered to have someone clean and us stay in the same cabin. We chose to stay in another, again because we had kids & it was just too much to temporarily stay in one then move back to the original. This was fine with us. The main downfall of this was we did settle for a queen bed and a pull out chair versus a queen bed & a twin bed. My poor husband ended up with the pull out chair which was tiny, extremely uncomfortable and had no bedding for it which was a bit gross thinking he’s sleeping straight on a pull out “mattress” if you can even consider it that with how flat & little it was. The kitchen and size of the cabin was also a downgrade & we were not offered any reimbursement/compensation. Overall, we’d consider staying with Thousand Hills again, but we do feel like we settled & weren’t offer enough for our troubles.

This was perfect for a quick getaway for just the two of us. It was quiet, it was secluded, it was darling. After a long day of adventuring and biking, and walking a theme park, the hot tub felt amazing on our sore bodies. The bed is too soft, but we just prefer a more firm mattress. Would definitely stay again. Possibly in a cooler season to appreciate the area in fall or winter.
