We enjoyed our stay Such a beautiful place inside and out. The place was clean as a pin, the host was friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful view of trees and the sunrise was spectacular. We will visit again when in the area

Off the Beaten Path is a delightful property and delivers on all fronts. We especially loved the plethora of sounds coming from the river, the trees surrounding the cabin, and the remote but very accessible location. We would only recommend a light for the guest parking sign and near the driveway as coming in the dark made it a bit of a challenge to find.

This stay was by far the best ive had. The easy access and natural lighting was amazing. The host was very nice and had great communication. I would 100% reccomend staying here if you have the opportunity to.

Very cozy and calming space with a great deck where you can watch the stars. It is very quiet, so it's a good spot to either recharge or get some work done (or both).

If you're looking for a private couples getaway, this place is perfect. Quaint, quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful setting and very private. We had my wife, myself, son and uncle, so not a secluded getaway, but a great place to stay and watch our daughter graduate from Mizzou with her Ph. D. No complaints, comfortable beds, and great place to stay away from the busy Columbia traffic and congestion. Lovely place!!

Very welcoming. A charming loft it was perfect. A delightful stay off the beat and path and hustle and bustle of trying to stay in Columbia MO. Well worth the say. Woke up to chickens and nature.

This little gem is well worth a drive thru the woods! There is a little apartment over the detached garage with privacy and ease of use. The windows in the rooms are large and give a beautiful view of the surrounding woods! A balcony to have your morning coffee and close to so many things we wanted to do over the weekend.The hosts are lovely, quiet people and were very gracious to meet us and show us the entrance and answer any questions! Will go back if at all possible!!!

The property was even better than the listing showed. We were very pleased with our stay. we just wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to get back there someday ... hopefully in the fall to see the leaves changing!

While there is a gravel road which leads to the apartment, it is more of a back way and we suggest taking the hwy instead, which is a very nice and well maintained road.

Our stay here was wonderful, we would love to visit again! We had clear and prompt communication with the hosts and the space is so comfortable with amazing views. It was very easy to get to and from Columbia and Rocheport, this location seems like an ideal home base for any mid-Missouri travel.

Owner was very helpful. When we booked this place, we thought it was a cabin. We had several steps to get to the apt. It was very nice, clean and fully stocked with dishes andpots and pans. Owner helped us carry our bags up the stairs. Would be great for a couple staying there for more than one night. We were just passing thru the area.
