Un magnifique plafond voûté et une baignoire sabot en pied de lion complètent cette chambre romantique. Jack et Jill coule. We loved staying here for our trip to Yosemite. It was clean, spacious and we had everything we needed to cook and everyone eat together at one table. We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the backyard too.Our only issues were minor ones and we didn't need to contact anyone during our stay. The dryer vents into the bathroom so that made showering more challenging while clothes were drying, the smoke detector is a little too close to the oven so every time we opened the oven the smoke detector went off. There were people staying on the property in a camper but they did not bother us at all.All in all, a great trip. Would stay here again and would recommend it.

Excellent property in the Yosemite area

The house is well placed to go anywhere in Yosemite you may want. Being a few minutes out of town also gave some much needed privacyThe house is set up very well for a family and the views out the back porch were a dream both in the morning and evening.

The house had absolutely everything we needed (and more) for our stay. Quiet location. Beautiful view. Master bedroom is enormous! Great communication from the owners. Would highly recommend!!

The place is in a great location. The view in the backyard is great for sunsets. Very comfortable house, plenty of space. Only downside is the road up to the house, would be great if all paved.

Gateway to Yosemite

The property is in a remote location, but near Oakhurst, which has many food options, and s but over an hour from the entrance to Yosemite. Clean, quiet, and roomy.

We have actually never had any issues with the cleanliness of our rental I don't know what the problem was because it was not stated But we do everything in our power to make sure the house is sanitized and clean between every booking

Wonderful Mountain Getaway

Georgias Windy Peach is nestled in the foothills with spectacular mountain views. Close to Bass Lake as well as a doable drive to Yosemite you can hike to your hearts content or visit Oakhurst with it's a active and diverse local artist community. the hosts are unabriauvive but available and responsive if needed. This is our third stay here and we plan to return next year. Thanks Bonnie!!

Amazing View on a Winding Road

Beautiful spacious home with an amazing view! We were greeted at the driveway by a CA quail sitting on a rock every evening. Loved the screened in back porch and view of the valley with the natural sounds of the evening!

Charming home with lovely mountain views

This is our second, but certainly not last, stay at Georgia's Windy Peach. Close to Bass Lake trails and 1.5 hour to Yosemite Park hiking trails with a gorgeous ride along the Merced River. Remote and cozy

Very comfortable home out in the boonies. The cast iron gas stove in the living and dining area provided a very cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed watching rabbits play in the front yard. The area is quite a distance from Yosemite Valley, but that applies to any area outside of the park. A friendly neighbor helped us find the place as the sun had already set.

The inside was nice set up but as I started going thru the kitchen cabinets, they are filthy and gross. You can tell they did a quick surface cleaning. The bed linens did not smell fresh. The fridge stinks and I had to wash everything I used in the kitchen. The location is way off the main path and the outside was not kept up at all. The window ceils were so dusty. It was an ok stay.

This is really the worst review. I have ever had from anybody. All of my other ratings are 10 These ladies came and stayed the whole time at the house as far as I know. We always wash all the laundry. And wipe down the refrigerator every time. I'm sorry she was not happy but i'm not sure what her expectations were. The outside is a drought resistant yard. Especially in the dead of summer. We tried to be conservative with our water

I brought my kids to Awahanee to celebrate my 10 year olds birthday. It was just her, my son and his girlfriend. Every room was absolutely perfect. We played out side, the views were extraordinary and the bathroom in the grande suite is beyond anything a mother could want, traveling with three kids 😆. It was cozy and quaint and my kids will grow up with amazing memories of it.

Spacious and comfortable

We got a detailed instruction of how to get to the accomodation. The last part up to the house is a gravel road. One part of the house was a large bedroom with a large bathroom, usually for the parents. We were with 3 teenagers and there were two other bedrooms and a bathroom for them. There is a kind of conservatory with a nice overview over the surrounding hills.

These renters came during a wildfire the next county over were concerned about safety and opted not to stay. The fire was 15 or more miles away and the property was not impacted although Yosemite was and routes closed which was unfortunate I don't know what other improvements they were talking about as they never complained to or let me know of anything about the space. Until this review.

Mountain Refuge in the Sierra Nevadas

My son and I plan a hiking trip to Yosemite each June; this was our first time staying at Georgia's WIndy Peach, and what a wonderful experience it was! I could have spent all day at the house, reading, napping, and gazing at the mountains from the screened porch and yard area. There are many, many hiking trails in the area, and the home is an hour from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. The Wind Peach is very clean, charmingly and comfortably appointed, and well-equipped for grilling and cooking - we made all of our meals in the spacious kitchen and outdoor grill. The beds are comfortable (we did not use the pull-down bed so cannot comment) but the other two beds were extremely comfortable and the master walk-in rain shower was fabulous after a long day of hiking. There is abundant wildlife - we saw a variety of local birds, including scrub jays and quail as well as a very industrious hummingbird who was a daily visitor and a bobcat on her dusk rounds one evening. Being in the mountains, we had a few insect visitors which we removed to the outdoors. We found it helps to keep the door closed between the screened porch area and the house if you do not like visits from from our arachnid friends. We plan to come back this Fall for the Sierra Arts Trail in October, and again in June 2023. We cannot thank Bonnie and her family enough for making this lovely home available.

Best access to Yosemite

Bonnie was a perfect host. We loved the house and loved that she shared her mom’s legacy. Access to Yosemite was less than an hour and a beautiful drive. The town of Oakhurst was just down the road toward Yosemite and Mariposa was a few miles in the other direction. The house was well maintained and well equipped for our stay. The back screened porch was awesome for beautiful sunsets. Loved having all the birds and other wildlife right in the backyard. Cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Highly recommend and will definitely try to stay at Georgia’s Windy Peach if we return to Yosemite. Thanks Bonnie for an amazing place to stay.
