Cozy & modern studio in desirable North Park/Morley Field area
Live like a local in one of the most popular neighborhoods in SD! This brand new, cozy studio in North Park is fully furnished with modern amenities and designer touches throughout. Desirable location near Morley field - just a 10-15 min walk to Balboa Park, the famous SD Zoo, and to all the great restaurants and bars on 30th & University. Downtown, Convention Center (Comicon) and airport are <10 mins by car.
The property has a main house and a separate 2-story building in the back that includes an upstairs rental unit (with permanent tenant), and this studio that is attached in the rear of the building.
The studio itself is ~550 square feet, decorated in a modern island theme with lots of windows and beautiful luxury vinyl floors throughout. A considerable amount has been invested in the space, with fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances (induction stove), and AC/heat.
The living room has a comfy sofa, coffee table/ottomans and 42" LCD TV. The queen sized bed is ultra comfortable with built in drawers and ample closet space to store your belongings.
And finally, outside you will have access to a large landscaped backyard with a dining area and a large fire pit with plenty of seating to enjoy a cozy fire in the cool nights. There is also a bbq grill and laundry room that you are welcome to use.
Notes:
1) Guests are welcome to use the seating in the tiki bar lounge, but the bar itself is only available for an additional fee and must be arranged ahead of time.
2) We live on the property in the main house, so will most likely be in town during your stay. You can be assured that we'll be available for any questions or needs that come up.
3) We have a small dog named Maya that frequently hangs out in the backyard. If you are not a dog person or have pet allergies, this is probably not the right place for you.
