Step ashore and you’re moments from Sausalito’s best shops, restaurants, live music, and easy public transportation. Step back aboard and you’re in a serene floating retreat where you can relax, unwind, or even jump straight into the bay for a refreshing swim.
Onness Polaris is designed for comfort and ease, featuring two staterooms, one and a half bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a very comfortable living room, a TV lounge with a small outdoor deck.
Each stateroom includes its own TV for added comfort and privacy.

The host had double booked her rental, and when we arrived we were left stranded without a place to stay at 8PM. The host hadn't responded to any messages through the VRBO system, but did answer the phone when I called and limply apologized. Never saw the actual boat, but the marina was dodgy and it's just as well it fell through. Very irresponsible of an owner to put her property on multiple rental platforms and then lackadaisically attend to her calendar. And shame on VRBO for not monitoring their host's confirmation and subsequent communication with guests. This was my first booking with VRBO and also my last.

3 - 3.5 totalBoat was very nice, a little cold but that's mostly down to the unusual cold snap we're in. There were plenty of heating options, but few negatives I'll list below.Hot Water - The host implied there was hot water available and gave instructions on how to fill a tub or take a shower. We tried several different faucets and the bath but were unable to get any hot water from any of the available sources. Not sure if there was some button or water heater we needed to activate, nothing was made clear.WIFI - The WIFI information sent out was inaccurate. Not a huge deal, not like we we're holding international conference calls. The TV's were all hooked up so we could receive shows just fine, we didn't spend that much time in the boat anyway.Sleeping accommodations - The primary bedroom was just a foam pad, one side of which was very worn down. My partner and I switched nights but both woke up fairly sore. There is a second bedroom which has a thicker slightly more comfortable pad, but it was also much more confined and much colder, and it rocked a bit more being in the front of the boat (yes I know...its a boat, it does that).Host unresponsive - I had a couple questions regarding some of the instructions, I also messaged about the WiFi being incorrect. I sent my first message the day before we arrived, and a final message the last day, the host failed to respond to any messages. Otherwise it was a lovely experience and stay, lots of places nearby to enjoy.

Hi Joseph, I’m truly sorry about what happened during your stay. This is the home I personally live in, and when I planned to spend a few months in Mexico, I thought it would be special to share this beautiful space. It was actually the first time I made it available, and everything had been running perfectly up until then. It was very unfortunate that the water heater failed during your visit. I only wish it had happened while I was there so I could have taken care of it immediately. I’ve now replaced it, though sourcing parts for boats can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Regarding the internet, it can occasionally act up during extreme weather, and this winter has been especially cold. As for the mattress, I personally find it comfortable, but I completely understand that comfort is subjective. To make sure future guests have the best possible experience, I’ve already ordered a new one. I truly hope you were still able to enjoy the incredible views, the convenience of the location, and the spaciousness of Oneness Polaris. Thank you again for your feedback—it really helps me improve and create an even more welcoming and enjoyable experience for future stays. Warmly, Lourdes
