The cottage had everything we could possibly want for our week away, most especially a pristine and quiet lake to swim and kayak in, lots of outdoor space for eating and relaxing, a lovely nearby town with tennis, restaurants and other amenities and a cozy cottage at the end of the day!

Lovely place

Well appointed and very comfortable in a lovely location. We had a great stay.Only caution is that the roads in and the laneway can get tricky in winter.

We had a wonderful holiday on the lake. The house is comfortable, spacious and well equipped. The lake was very private and we enjoyed swimming with loons and herons nearby, and lots of tadpoles, minnows, and jumping fish. The view of the lake from the cottage is beautiful. The host is helpful and quick to reply.

Wonderful holiday

We really enjoyed out stay. The house was spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed dining outdoors on the deck, and the awning protected us from the sun. Although there was a heat wave in town, it was cool in the house. The lake is wonderful - clean, calm and quiet, great for swimming or kayaking.

This is a wonderful property that we are happy to return to. The house is spotless, comfortable and well equipped. There is a downstairs suite that can accommodate family and friends, and outdoor decks to enjoy the beautiful lake views. The house kept cool during a heatwave, and the lake temperature was perfect. Claudine, the manager, is very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful lake and comfortable house

The setting and views of the lake are beautiful, and you have everything you need for a relaxing and active holiday - swimming, hiking, kayaking and stand-up paddleboard. The deck with its fireplace will delight adults and children. The house is spotless and the property manager is very responsive. We particularly appreciated the privacy provided by the big trees that shield the property from the neighbours.

Fantastic quick getaway

We had a fabulous stay at this lovely cottage. Everything was spotless and exactly as advertised. The cottage itself was perfect for our family of 5 and our teens really enjoyed the loft space. The several levels of outdoor space was really great. We had BBQ dinners on the top deck just off the main floor, enjoyed lunch and a lovely evening fire on the “middle” deck, and spent several hours on the dock. We enjoyed the kayaks, SUP, and paddle boat, and the lake was just perfect for swimming. All-in-all, a wonderful 3 day stay!

A wonderful holiday

The cottage is very well equipped for fun and relaxing. We had a great time swimming in the lake and kayaking. The lake is quiet and there are no loud motor boats or jet skis. We were able to cook and barbecue with an excellent selection of plates, cooking utensils, etc. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom provide a private suite for family/friends, with their own patio door and access to the lake. Everything is clean and thoughtfully arranged. Claudine, the host, is very responsive.

This cottage was perfect for our family of four. Great access to the water, clean healthy lake to swim in. Lots of kayaks and paddleboards, and fun raft to lay on in the water. Outdoor firepit on the deck was perfect place to relax at night. Inside looked brand new, very clean, new cookware, nice bedding and air conditioning! Would definitely stay again, Claudine was a great host.

Exceptional experience

I rented this property for a New Year’s family getaway. My 12-year old son, my wife and I had a wonderful time. Beautiful house, with access to Gary Lake and fun outdoor activities. We really enjoyed tube sliding right on the property. I am also very pleased with how we were serviced by the owner, Claudine. She provided us with clear communications before our arrival and made sure, during our stay, that everything was going well and that we were happy with the house. Thank you very much! Highly recommended.

Another beautiful weekend!

This was our second stay and we once again had an amazing long weekend. The location is stunning--a beautiful, quiet lake with so many great water activities provided. Claudine's property is immaculate and the kitchen is fully equipped. We loved watching the local blue heron from the kayaks, swimming in the clear lake, playing family games, and spending evenings by the fire. I couldn't recommend this idyllic spot more!

Chalet très agréable

Bonjour Claudine, On a bien aimé votre chalet. Merci encore, On a beaucoup aimé notre séjour.
