This guest home comfortably sleeps 8 guests & features:
3 sleeping spaces
Bedroom 1: Queen-over-Queen bunk bed great for families or friends.

Bedroom 3: Twin bed with a pull-out Twin trundle perfect for kids or extra guests. This trundle pops up and can convert into a queen bed or used as two twins.
Fully Equipped Kitchen
Everything you need to cook at home, from morning coffee to dinner under the stars.
Expansive patio with LAKE Views
The oversized patio seats eight people around the outdoor dining table and includes a Firepit for roasting marshmallows on cozy evenings, and a BBQ Grill ideal for grilling while taking in the beautiful Canyon Lake scenery.
The space
This rental is a secluded guesthouse, attached to the homeowners vacation unit up top. It`s a fully functioning and separate space with it`s own private entrance and ample parking area for your privacy and security. The entire guesthouse is all on one level (lower level of home). The entire house is also available for rent if you need additional space. Just message host to inquire.
Guest Access
Guests have private access to the entire guest house downstairs which is completely separate from the upstairs. This including the spacious patio, all outdoor areas shown in the listing, and convenient parking.
The address on 1183 Ledge Path, Canyon Lake, TX 78133 will take you to the front of the house via Google Maps. There is space to park two vehicles comfortably in the front or the back.
You may also park in the back of the house off Dusty saddle, where there is a circular driveway that can accommodate up to four additional vehicles great for larger groups. The driveway is steep as we are in the hill country but asphalted. Park however is convenient for you. We have solar lighting to help during the evenings finding our place and 1183 listed at the bottom & Top entrance.
If parking in the front, head down the limestone stairs, take a right, and walk down the short wooden staircase.
At the bottom of the stairs, you’ll arrive at the covered patio/deck. There, you’ll find the front door to the guest house.
The smart lock access code is the last four digits of your phone number associated with your Airbnb reservation.
Enjoy full use of the guest house and outdoor spaces during your stay!

Welcome to Your Hill Country Hideaway!
Perched at the tippy top of Ledge Path, this cozy retreat sits literally above it all. Expect canyon views so gorgeous they might make your group chats emotional, deer sightings in the yard, and sunsets that deserve their own playlist. Whether you’re here to unplug or adventure your face off—we’ve got your vibe.
⸻
🎉 Extra Touches (Because You’re Fancy Like That)
Want to roll in to a fridge stocked with your favorite snacks, a surprise charcuterie board, or flowers that say “I planned this but totally didn’t”? We’ve got you covered. From catering magic to birthday balloons—if you can dream it, we can probably deliver it (or at least find someone who can).
⸻
🥾 Walk It Out (Local Trails Near the House)
You don’t have to go far to feel outdoorsy:
• Ledge Path Nature Walk – Right outside! Take a stroll, sip your coffee, wave at the deer, repeat.
• Overlook Park – 10 minutes away. Cliffside lake views that will have you rethinking your screensaver.
• Madrone Trail – 15 minutes away. Peaceful forest loops perfect for hiking, biking, or pretending you’re in a nature documentary.
⸻
🛶 Things To Do Within 10 Minutes (Yes, Really!)
🎢 Camp Fimfo Adventures – Just 10 minutes down the road!
• The Cliff Carver – Texas’ only alpine coaster. Zoom through the trees at your own speed (or pretend you’re in a GoPro commercial).
• The Guadalupe Glider – A zip-line that soars 130 feet over the river. It’s like flying… without needing wings.
• Tubing on the Guadalupe River – Classic Hill Country fun. Float, chill, maybe lose a flip-flop. That’s the vibe.
⸻
🌟 Awesome Day Trips (All Under 30-45 Minutes!)
1. Canyon Lake Gorge – A canyon carved by a flood. Nature said, “Watch this.”
2. Overlook Park – Views for days. Bring a blanket, a buddy, and snacks.
3. Jacob’s Creek Park – Sandy beaches and swimming spots perfect for sun and splash.
4. Guadalupe River Tubing – Tubes, coolers, shuttle rides. Sunscreen = survival.
5. Canyon Lake Dam – Scenic and educational. Impress your group by casually mentioning “flood control.”
6. Heritage Museum – Fossils, history, and your chance to seem smart.
7. Blue Hole Regional Park – Tree-lined swimming hole that feels like a secret getaway.
8. Canyon Lake Marina – Rent a boat, hop on a jet ski, or just stroll the docks like you own the place.
9. Gruene Historic District – Antiques, live music, and margaritas. It’s a Texas trifecta.
10. Schlitterbahn – Only 25 minutes away! Waterslides, lazy rivers, and enough splashy fun to wear the kids (or you) out.
11. SeaWorld San Antonio – About 45 minutes away. Coasters, shows, and sea creatures galore. It’s big. It’s fun. It’s got penguins.

📍 Final Notes
You’re in a sweet spot—close to everything but just far enough to feel like you’re on another planet (the good kind). Whether you’re thrill-seeking, trail-hiking, lake-floating, or simply wine-sipping on the deck—this is your place to relax, recharge, and repeat.
✅ Check-In & Check-Out
• Check-in: After 4pm
• Check-out: By 10am
Late check-outs may result in an additional fee unless previously approved.
🚭 No Smoking
• No smoking or vaping allowed inside the home.
• You may smoke outside, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly.
🚫 Just Say No (to Illegal Stuff)
We’re all about good vibes and great memories — but strictly within the law 😉. Please no illegal drugs on the property. If it’s not legal in Texas, it’s not welcome at The Nest. Breaking this rule could lead to an early check-out (the kind with no refund and maybe a visit from the local sheriff). Let’s keep it fun and above board!
🐾 No Pets
• We love animals, but unfortunately, pets are not allowed at this property due to allergies and maintenance concerns.
🎉 No Parties or Events
• We do not allow parties, events, or large gatherings.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM out of respect for our neighbors.
👥 Guest Limit
• Only the number of guests listed in the reservation are allowed to stay overnight.
• Additional unregistered guests are not permitted without prior approval.
🧼 Cleanliness
• Please treat our home with respect and care.
• Dishes should be rinsed and placed in the dishwasher before departure.
• Trash should be bagged and placed in the outdoor bin located n Ledge Path upstairs (brown bin orange lid)
❄️ A/C :Let’s Keep It Cool (But Not Too Cool!)
We totally get it — Texas heat makes you want to crank that A/C way down. But here’s the deal:
Please don’t set the thermostat below 68°F for long stretches.
Why? Because the system can freeze up like a popsicle and shut down completely — and nobody wants to spend their vacation sweating it out while the A/C takes a timeout.
To help you stay comfy, we’ve also placed a couple of fans around the guesthouse — feel free to move them where you need an extra breeze.
🔇 Noise & Neighborhood
• Please keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors and during quiet hours (10 PM – 8 AM).
• Be respectful of our neighbors — this is a peaceful residential area.
🔐 Security
• Always lock doors and windows when you leave the house.
• Do not share your access code with anyone outside your group.
🛠️ Damages
• Accidents happen! Please report any damage or issues during your stay so we can address them quickly.
🚫 Prohibited Items
• No illegal substances or activities are allowed on the property.
