Profitez de cette belle maison de vacances mise à jour à Highlands NC, situé à Shelby Place, un lotissement calme à quelques minutes de Main Street Highlands.



Ce chalet de location de vacances a été rénové avec goût et offre de belles finitions.  Le plan d'étage de style ranch est à la fois confortable et douillet.  Un abri couvert et une entrée de plain-pied donnent accès à la grande salle voûtée avec parquet, cheminée à gaz et cuisine ouverte avec bar. Les deux chambres offrent un roi dans le maître et une reine dans l'invité. Les deux salles de bains sont bien équipées avec une douche à l'italienne dans l'un et une douche et une baignoire séparées dans l'autre.



Profitez des sons de la petite crique sur le pont ouvert de la salle à manger ou asseyez-vous sur le perron couvert avec un livre et détendez-vous dans l'air frais des montagnes des Highlands. Pour votre plus grand plaisir, l’été 2019 sera un foyer extérieur.  Depuis cette maison de vacances, vous êtes à seulement cinq minutes de route de Main Street Highlands et de ses nombreux restaurants gastronomiques comme le Madison's Wine Garden, Chypre et Wild Thyme. Ou assistez à un spectacle au Highlands Playhouse ou au Performing Art Center et n'oubliez pas le Old Edwards Inn and Spa ainsi que tous les superbes magasins.

The covered porch is dreamy and the beds are SO comfy! I have stayed at several VRBOs and this was excellent!! It is a very nice neighborhood that is close to town and gorgeous waterfall hikes. It was perfect for 2 couples.

Enjoyed the house very much. We loved the back porch and house was very well stocked. My only complaint is that it’s very dark inside but not sure how you would fix that. Also a lot of reminders throughout our stay on rules for garbage, dishes ,laundry etc. Thank you!

The house has everything you will need and is very comfortable. It has a great location near the main street in Highlands and close proximity to stores and restaurants. We try and book this house each year in May when we attend the bridge tournament.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights at this property. The inside was immaculate, the kitchen was well stocked, and we had plenty of room in all the living areas, including the bathrooms. We especially enjoyed spending time on the wonderful back deck - lovely lush foliage and the sound of the creek was so nice. The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable and we were able to get in a decent walk without venturing out onto the busy Walhalla road. The cottage is a very short drive ( 5 minutes) to downtown Highlands which is convenient. Things we would appreciate are adding screen doors on the back and carport doors, better lightning (it was really hard to find a good place to read inside), and we'd also recommend storing the back deck cushions inside when not in use - they are dirty and discolored. We'd definitely stay here again.

My five 70 siblings stayed in this lovely home. The neighborhood was quiet and beautifully landscaped while the interior of the home was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. Delightful experience!

The house is very comfortable and the location is so quiet. We sat on both porches and really loved listening to the creek and birds. The living room was fine but dark. I feel like different lightbulbs would really help the ambiance of the house and some more lighting in the living room would improve it. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked breakfast every morning and made lunches. I do not like the fact that rent in highlands gave us chores to do when we were having to check out so early. Stripping the beds, starting the laundry and taking out the trash is ridiculous. We were running around very early getting everything ready to leave. We pay a huge house keeping fee so what is that all about. I also didn't like getting texts while I was staying there telling ME what was expected of me when I am the customer. I have a vacation rental home and we have never asked people to do that.

We also appreciate the feedback on the living room lighting and will take that into consideration. We do want to gently clarify our checkout process, as we want all guests to have accurate expectations. We ask only that beds be left unmade (no stripping required!), that guests start a single load of towels, and that we share the trash schedule so nothing is left behind. These small steps help us turn the home around quickly and keep our housekeeping fees as reasonable as possible for future guests. We understand that even minor requests can feel like a lot during an early checkout, and we're sorry it added stress to your morning. We truly value your feedback and hope that despite the checkout frustration, the beauty and comfort of the home left you with wonderful memories of Highlands. We'd love the chance to welcome you back!

Ideal House and Ideal Location

We really enjoyed our stay from top to bottom. Communication from Alicen was great and the house was exactly as advertised. We loved how quiet the street was and how close the property was to downtown Highlands. We will definitely rent again.

Have-it-all in Highlands

We loved staying at this property. The home is well-appointed and its close proximity to downtown is incredibly convenient. Visiting during summer, the back porch is the place to relax with the restful sound of the creek in the backyard. I have a high standard for cleanliness and this home was extremely clean which I appreciate. Next time we will book a longer visit!
