Buxtehude experience

The stay in the apartment was excellent. It is a beautiful place, very quiet but central and in walking distance to the town centre and train station. The apartment exceeded our expectations, was very clean, had all amenities and kitchen equipment one could wish for. The contact with the owner was easy and pleasant. Thank you Britta!

Fantastic Stay

We loved this house. It was equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. It was super clean and much larger than what it looked like in the pictures. We had lots of space for entertaining guests. Britta, the owner is very sweet and helpful, but never intrusive. She even gave us fresh eggs from the chickens out back. Highly recommend!!

Family wedding in Buxtehude

We are a large family of 4 adults and two children. We found the house to be in an excellent location to walk easily all through old town, to local restaurants, supermarkets and a park. The hosts are friendly and helpful, responding to questions promptly. The house is an impressive spacious 100 year old home with large rooms and modern facilities. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone looking for pleasant and comfortable accommodation in quaint Buxtehude!

We had a fantastic stay here and would happily come back. A family member stayed here last year and it came highly recommended! We couldn’t agree more! The apartment is even more spacious than the photos suggest, and it was spotless when we arrived. The location was perfect. It's on a quiet street and only a short walk from the old town with its shops, cafés, and restaurants. Highly recommend the ice cream shop Caffe Creme Sole Mio and doner kebab from the Flamingo Doner and Grill that is right around the corner. Also a short walk away was Marktkauf, a great grocery store that has anything you may have forgotten. The apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and having two bathrooms (and two showers!) was a rare gem that came in handy with two teenage boys! We were so surprised to find the washer AND dryer to help us make it thru our 9-day stay. There was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out and places for us to chill and relax. The sauna was an unexpected highlight and such a nice treat after a day of exploring. We also appreciated little touches like the electric grill and fresh eggs from the resident chickens. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay if you're visiting Buxtehude or planning to explore the surrounding area. Out of all the rentals we’ve stayed in, this has to be our favorite!

Spacious rooms, beautiful location

This property allowed us a very comfortable and enjoyable stay in Buxtehude. It is accurately described, very clean, boasts spacious rooms, has a full and useful kitchen and many home comforts. The apartment had its own entry, allowing a clearly seperate space from the tenanted upstairs level. Our children enjoyed access to the beautiful shared garden, where they could run around and see the chickens. The apartment is situated in a lovely, quiet area and is only a short walk from the Old Town and many tourist amenities. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend.

The welcoming was nice. The house is over equiped, near the railway station which allowed to reach Hamburg easily. Buxtehude is a nice town. I will recommand it !
