La Sirena 16 is a peaceful two-story villa in the garden section of La Sirena Condominiums, offering a comfortable layout for up to seven guests. The open-concept ground floor includes the living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, all cooled by one shared air-conditioning unit. Two bedrooms are also on this level—one with a king bed and the other with a double and twin—each with its own A/C and sharing a full bathroom. Upstairs, the master suite enjoys a king bed, private sitting area, ensuite bath, and direct access to a large lanai furnished for outdoor lounging and dining.

The home features daily housekeeping (Mon–Sat), fiber-optic WiFi, Smart TV, coordinated dinnerware, and high-quality kitchenware. Outdoor areas include a screened patio beside the pool and access to a man-made beach on the rocky shores of Half Moon Bay. The ocean here is naturally rocky, so water shoes are recommended.

La Sirena’s northern Half Moon Bay location offers a quiet atmosphere within walking distance to Yal Ku Lagoon. For exploring beyond Akumal, a rental car or private driver is advised due to limited public transit and the unpaved road to the highway.

Reviewer Comments: We spent a wonderful week at La Sirena Unit 16 with our granddaughter to celebrate her graduation, and our experience with Akumal Direct / Loco ****** was exceptional from start to finish. We were originally booked at Hacienda de la Tortuga, but before our trip the team proactively reached out to let us know that the sargasso conditions there were severe. They didn’t just inform us—they offered two alternative properties and helped us seamlessly transition our reservation. Their commitment to ensuring we had the best possible stay was clear, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated.They even coordinated the delivery of our golf cart to the new property, making the switch effortless on our end.La Sirena itself was perfect. The grounds and gardens are lush and beautifully maintained, and our villa was comfortable, charming, and well‐appointed with everything we needed. The A/C kept the space cool, the hot water was reliable, and the décor had that authentic, welcoming Mexican touch. The beach area was lovely, and we enjoyed fantastic snorkeling right from shore—with absolutely no sargasso. We also spent plenty of time relaxing by the gorgeous pool, and one afternoon the gardener surprised us with a fresh coconut, which made the moment even more special.The Akumal Direct team truly demonstrated excellence in customer service. Their proactive communication, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care for our experience made all the difference. We highly recommend them as a trusted source for your vacation planning, and we look forward to booking with them again.
