Family of (4) w/teens 16 & 19 & small dog stayed early June 2026, our first time in the Outer Banks.Beautiful location, relatively quiet area (note that this was early June and at the time the houses immediately next to us were unoccupied for that week - noticed on the beach a lot of HS seniors, but we didn't see in our area). We could walk to the beach but chose driving to the parking lot at Bonita street most times. House is fantastic, if anything we agreed pictures are tough to capture how nice it is. We loved having the natural area out back. We rented kayaks to use on the sound, just be mindful that the dock is fairly long and will need to walk them out and get them down some stairs to the water. I cook a lot and would say that the kitchen was reasonably stocked, but just be mindful you need to bring any food-related items - salt, pepper, oils, spices, etc.Activities we did during week - Kayaked off the dockPoolBeach/OceanRestaurants/shoppingWhalehead center & a few other local sitesOur goal for the week was to chill and this house/location made that easy. We didn't wind up using the community's pool or courts or gym, but if you do I believe you need to set up an account to get access codes. Would definitely recommend.
