You’ll also enjoy watching the sunset from the brick patio, which overlooks a gently sloping hillside leading down to a nearby creek, perfect for walking or hiking. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll love watching the many little birds, blue jays and squirrels that make their home there. The dark nights are filled with stars, making the Lovebirds Cabin the perfect retreat for a romantic, peaceful escape for two! Whether you’re a travelling professional, digital nomad, stressed-out urban dweller, or simply looking to unplug and reconnect with nature, the Lovebirds Cabin will bring you the peace, serenity and renewal you deserve.

The living room is open and airy, with an elevated ceiling of knotty pine and many details in the famed Idyllwild ‘Pinecraft’ style. A ceiling fan, together with the gentle breeze that emanates from the northwest, ensures that the cabin is always cool and comfortable, while a beautiful bay-front pellet stove provides a warm, comforting fire on cold wintery nights. The sofa doubles as a queen-size bed, and there is also a Craftsman style queen-sized futon sofa for your guests. The 55” Smart TV features a cable package with Netflix, and WiFi high speed internet is included. Curl up on the comfy leather armchair with your selection of books from our reading library in the hand-painted cabinet, strum the guitar, play the board games provided or simply meditate, doze and relax!

The bedroom contains a comfortable top-of-the-line Simmons queen bed with premium deep mattress, with fresh linens provided. The adjacent bathroom features a pedestal sink and a cast iron enameled clawfoot bathtub, with original brass shower and fittings. Towels, first aid kit, hairdryer, iron, luxury soaps and bath and body products are included. Enjoy the Epsom salts and essential oils provided to make your bathing ritual a one-of-a-kind healing home spa experience!

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a large fridge, oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, pots, pans, silverware, china and BBQ accessories. The Lazy Susan is supplied with teas, coffee, spices and other kitchen essentials. The back room is a multi-purpose dining/office/family room with printer, board games, and an attached small outdoor deck to sit, have coffee and enjoy birdwatching as well as enjoying the sunset through the trees.

On the outside brick patio overlooking the gently slopes of the hillside are two comfy chairs as well as two long chaises on which you can relax and enjoy the mountain air and the breezes and aromas of the whispering pines. Blankets and throws are available for cool evenings, and there is a Weber kettle with charcoal provided should you wish to BBQ. Imagine enjoying the soothing sunsets as you sip a nice glass of wine!

The cabin is located near Pine Cove Park, known for its giant boulders with hieroglyphs, as well as the stunning view of the distant valley below. Hiking trails and outdoor adventures abound, with maps available at the cabin. There is a full-service gas station, with convenience store and laundromat a short walking distance from the cabin.
