Jay provided good directions before we arrived, and checked in to be sure all was good after our arrival. The house and yard are supper comfortable. A great place to stay for a mountain fix with your dog.

Jay's property is located nearby the town and many hiking trails, and it has all the essentials for our stay. It was a lovely cabin, and our dogs enjoyed the backyard a lot.

This was a great cabin in Idyllwild. It was quiet and peaceful, but still convenient to get to town for food and other necessities. The host was nice and responsive. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit Idyllwild.

I have stayed at this cabin twice this year. It has become my home away from home! The owner, Jay, is a wonderful, helpful host, quick to respond to emails and very welcoming to pets. The rustic cabin is lovely and clean - a perfect get-away - and has everything one needs. I love the neighborhood as well. Thank you, Jay!

Its a small, quaint place, definitely worth the price. Perfect size for 2 and your pet babies. Its a clean space with alot of useful amenities. Absolutely recommend !

The cabin was cute and cozy. Extremely clean. Had all the necessary utensils in the kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was really nice and quite large. Great area to take a walk and claw to the Village. Highly recommend.

Perfect get-a-way for Thanksgiving and our wedding anniversary. Doggies loved the enclosed backyard and there was a space near front door that fit their two kennels perfectly! We cooked Thanksgiving dinner at the cabin and had all the utensils we needed (we did bring roasting pan from home). Bonus - Saturday night was lighting of the Idyllwild Christmas trees (7 of them!). It was a busy weekend in town with all the festivities, but this house is just over a mile from the town center, so we didn't have to deal with traffic or crowds of the Holiday weekend unless we needed to something in town. Jay is amazing to work with - very quick to respond to messages and he had lots of tips of restaurants, etc. He was super helpful!

Cozy and peaceful

Perfect place for our stay. Our dogs had a grand adventure in the fenced backyard. Cabin was very cozy and clean. Owner provided a lot of great suggestions on the area and was very responsive. Can’t wait to go again.

Perfect weekend getaway spot

This was perfect for my dog and I, and a friend who came for one night. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, I felt extremely safe and felt safe with my dog in the fully fenced backyard. Was a very quick drive to town and only ten minutes to the Ernie Maxwell trailhead. Jay was an excellent host. I would definitely stay here again!

First time taking the dog

The cabin was perfect for my husband, myself and the dog. This was the first time we brought the dog along. The fenced in backyard was a plus. We really had a nice time and are thinking about returning in the summer.

I live mainly in South Orang County, however; spend a lot of time at Peaceful Pines as well.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Peaceful Pines is located in a very peaceful area of Idyllwild, but still close enough to town (3/4 mile) to enjoy all that Idyllwild has to offer. The back yard is very fur baby friendly and is very friendly for BBQ’s or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the wildlife, such as squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, and all types of birds. A special place in IDY for both you and your pets!
