Nanoose Bay is a small seaside resort between Nanaimo and Parksville on the eastern shore of Central Vancouver Island. Within the area is Beachcomber Regional Park, a one hectare oceanside park situated at the end of Nanooseâs Beachcomber Peninsula, and offers spectacular views west across Craig Bay to Parksville and Mount Arrowsmith and north across the Salish Sea (Strait of Georgia) to the mainland coastal mountains. At low tide, large flat rocks are exposed which makes great territory for exploring and tide pool investigating. The larger Moorecroft Regional Park has a long beach with spectacular views across the water. This park also contains a wetland area and a network of trails. Picnicking, swimming, biking and walking are popular. While in the area do some paddling, fishing and sailing or just walk the trails, have a round of golf and follow the art loop and scenic drive to the working studios of the Nanoose Bay Peninsulaâs many artisans.
This is our vacation home and we are asking guests to please respect a few requests:
- Please do not wear your shoes inside the home.
- No smoking in the home or on the property.
- For safety and privacy of our neighbours, please stay off the rocks on the property.
- All trash and recyclables are to be removed from all decks to avoid an additional $50 cleaning fee.
- No parties, events, or loud music on the deck or on the property.
- Noise bylaws are in effect between 11pm to 7am, please respect the neighbours.

Seafood and shellfish harvesting has resulted in excess cleaning and allergy issues for our cleaners and incoming guests that are not able to be resolved without extensive cleaning time and extra costs for disposal.
When checking-out, please remember to:
- Tidy house; load and run the dishwasher, and start a load of towels.
- Please leave all garbage and recycling in the garage in the bins provided, the door code is 1234
