Just 25 minutes from Bayeux and within easy reach of the D-Day landing beaches, the gîte offers the perfect balance of countryside tranquillity and convenient access to Normandy’s most historic and scenic attractions.

Inside, the house is bright, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed for a relaxing stay. The spacious double bedroom with en-suite bathroom provides comfort and privacy, while the generous lounge includes a comfortable double sofa bed, making the property ideal for up to four guests. A second bathroom adds extra convenience for families or longer stays.

After a day exploring Normandy, unwind in the cosy living area with comfortable seating, dining space, and breakfast bar. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks the gardens, bringing the outdoors in and creating a calm, welcoming atmosphere.

Très bon séjour dans cette ancienne laiterie de ferme transformée en superbe gîte ! La grande pièce de vie est très agréable et le terrain exterieur idéal, avec terrain de pétanque, table de ping-pong et un babyfoot. C'était parfait.

We’re Kirk and Anne-Marie, originally from Warrington in the UK, and we now run Les Rouges Terres Gites here in the beautiful Normandy countryside.

Before moving to France, we spent many years running our own pub, where hospitality, good food, and making people feel at home were at the heart of everything we did. Kirk is a chef by trade, so food and welcoming guests have always been a big part of our lives.

We made the move to Normandy with our two children to enjoy a different pace of life and to create a peaceful place where others can do the same. Today, we take great pride in offering comfortable, well-cared-for gîtes where guests can relax, explore, and feel completely at home.

Whether you need local recommendations, help settling in, or simply prefer privacy during your stay, we’re always nearby if you need us.
