Broke out in rash, lots of ants in bathroom

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was nice and very close to downtown. Amenities were really great too. The projector and games in bottom floor were nice. However there was an infestation of ants in one of the bathrooms particularly the bathtub for 1-2 days. Management was responsive and sent pest control out to spray and ants were gone about 36 hours after being sprayed. Wife broke out in a rash all over her forehead and face after one day and continued to get worse over the next few days. We checked out one day early because her rash was getting so bad. Not sure if it was an allergy to the cleaning materials used or if it was just dusty. Also this cabin is very close to other cabins. For two days as we wanted to enjoy our breakfast on the balcony, we heard children and adults screaming. We had to put in our noise cancelling headphones to block them out. Be aware that the cabin is just close to other cabins.

The maintenance and housekeeping staff are on the spot, friendly and genuinely want to make sure your accommodations are perfect! We could call anytime and we would get a live person who was polite, positive and helpful! If they missed your call they would call back even if you didn't leave a message! The home was gorgeous and the decks were amazing! You won't be disappointed!

The kids loved the games and the adults loved the outside area. The only two complaints are that there were no outside chairs in the hot tub area and that the floor needed to be mopped when we arrived.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Omg! It was beautiful! We were so excited when we arrived to this beautiful 3 story cabin! We had more than enough room for 4 couples! Waking up to snow covered trees was breathtaking! Can’t wait to go back! FYI if you are going to stay in & cook bring a crockpot or bigger pots...we were limited with the cookware that was provided.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious cabin with wonderful amenities. Location is convenient. The hot tub was nicely maintained. The house was clean but the linens were not clean. We found hair from previous guests on many of the pillow cases. It seems many of the pillow cases weren’t laundered.

Elk Springs Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall nice stay at Elk Springs. Main complaint was check in was not available until after 5pm. Some wear and tear showing in the cabin but not bad. Sound on TV projector did not work but maintenance was quick and responsive to fix. Beautiful setting, nice outdoor fireplace and hot jacuzzi. Kids enjoyed the game room.

Great Stay! Would Recommend!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was perfect. We loved this cabin. The only issue we encountered was a rotted out rocking chair on the deck. As soon as my dad sat in it, the legs fell off and he fell on the deck. The maintenance guy was great though, he came over right away and grabbed the chair and checked all of the other ones too! My kids especially loved the movie times we had using the 9ft projection screen.
