Luxury Home in Brand New Complex in Cerritos Beach

.Be our guest in this brand new beautifully appointed 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse that is a very short walk or 2 min. drive to Cerritos beach, and 3 min. to San Pedrito beach. The large rooftop deck has BBQ and bar kitchen with lots of seating & wonderful water views. The condo sleeps 7, has a gourmet kitchen & outdoor patio where 12 can dine in our private garden. Each room has its own A/C/heat along with ceiling fan. Bedrooms have TVs. Excellent WiFi reception throughout the house.
The space
The primary bedroom with a king-size bed opens through French doors to its own private terrace. Relax on this upper terrace overlooking the arroyo to the Pacific ocean.The large private en suite bathroom has 2 sinks and a beautiful tiled walk-in shower. The second bedroom features a comfortable king-size bed and desk for work space. The third bedroom is outfitted with a double bed and a twin bed. Both the second and third bedrooms open to a balcony.

Dining/Living Room: The garden patio dining area just off the kitchen can seat up to twelve and inside there is dining for 8. The large L shaped living room sectional comfortably accommodates your group.

Near by: Enjoy the safe waters of Cerritos Beach for surfing, swimming, boogie boarding, toddler surf play, Whale watching from Dec to April. Find restaurants, coffee shops, yoga, pilates, gyms, hiking, Mt biking and golf in the area, many in Cerritos itself, in El Pescadero just down the road, and in nearby Todos Santos, just 15 minutes drive. Todos Santos holds Mexico's prestigious Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) designation, a title given by the government to towns with significant cultural, historical, or natural appeal, promoting unique experiences with their colonial charm, art scene, Pacific beaches, and culinary offerings, making it a hub for culture. NOTE: No parties in the condo are permitted other than simple life celebrations among the occupants of the condo ( max 8 persons). Anything greater than that needs specific approval by the owners.

Beaches
A quick walk or a 1-2 minute drive gets you to Cerritos Beach, It’s perfect for surfing and swimming, has a great choice of places to eat, and is surrounded by the natural beauty of the desert landscape and Sierra de la Laguna mountains. It’s the best beach in the area for swimming and beginner surfers. The beach is quite flat for a very long way out, making it great for little kids and boogie boarders. The miles of crescent-shaped beach are perfect for walking while watching whales breach as you go. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent or bring them yourself. Pay toilets are available as well. Surf board rentals, wet suits, and surfing lessons are all readily available at the beach.
In the evenings La Tuna and other venues often feature live music along with beer and other drinks.
A 3 minute drive from our house in the opposite from Cerritos beach is San Pedrito beach. This beach is quiet, less developed without vendors, bars or restaurants, but more beautiful and definitely the place to go for the best sunset vantage spot. The waves and currents are much stronger here so only and then with much caution should Very experienced surfers or Very strong swimmers enter the surf.
Provisioning
Provisions for the condo are easily and readily available. The Sun market on the main road into Cerritos is small but a good stop for basics. Going north further up the highway toward Todos Santos, just a wee bit on the right you’ll see a sign for La Torote restaurant which is associated with the “boutique” Salgado market. ( The main Salgado market is in Pescadero.) This “boutique Salgado” is very good for fresh fruit, veggies and food items foreigners may most prefer. Definitely worth a stop. Just a few minutes going north further along the highway turn right where you see the OXOX. Drive down the street and the main Salgado market is on your right. You’ll find all your grocery needs here including meat, fresh veggies, fruit, dairy. Usually, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday fish vendors can be found across the street from Salgado. And if not there, you can buy fish in the bright blue building across the street.
A very high end market is Agricol which is just a bit further north along the highway on the left side. You’ll see a tall “old fashioned” windpump which is part of the Agricol image. Here you’ll find a good bakery, wine, high end meats, organic fruit, veggies and many other specialty items. Definitely worth a stop.

Todos Santos
A visit to Cerritos without visiting Todos Santos is definitely incomplete. It is one of Mexico’s heritage towns. Take your time and wander. Very good restaurants are here from simple tocas to fine dining. Lots of lovely dining spots seem to specialize in juices, smoothies, and brunch foods, then close around mid day. If you’re looking for the best meat tacos, try Tacos El Poblano (the tacos al pastor are a must!); for fish tacos try Tacos Santo Chilote.
