Historic & Haunted: 3-bedroom Mining Cabin near Death Valley - Beatty, NV
Unwind in Beatty at this recently remodeled historic miner's cabin which was recently featured on Discovery Channel's 'Ghost Adventures w/ Zak Bagans.'
With three cozy bedrooms featuring two queen beds and a twin bed, plus a living room with a comfy sofa bed, guests have plenty of space to relax. The cabin includes two remodeled bathrooms, one with a high pressure shower and a jetted whirlpool tub, as well as a separate shower that only has cold water so you can experience what it was like to be a real miner in the 1900's.
Stay comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning throughout the home which is located just a short drive from Death Valley and Area 51. This welcoming retreat invites guests to kick back and enjoy a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere with amazing front patio including 'smokeless' fire-pit, bar-b-que and view of the mountains and downtown. Located in Downtown Beatty, just two blocks from historic bars and restaurants including the World Famous Sourdough Saloon (great pizza) and the 1903 Exchange Club Casino - both of which were also featured in 'Ghost Adventures w/ Zak Bagans.'
Experience what Beatty has to offer with a stay at our charming cabin and you never know who might stop by or say hi!
*Disclaimer this cabin was originally constructed in 1905 in Rhyolite Nevada, before being relocated to it's current location in cir. 1930. It was painstakingly remodeled in 2025 to bring it up to it's remarkable condition today.
During the remodel an unexplained figure appeared and has been seen only one or more times since becoming a short term rental. Due to the paranormal activity, this Historic Mining Cabin was recently featured in the Discovery Series 'Ghost Adventures w/ Zak Bagans' in early 2026.
The apparition has been described as a grizzly older man who was friendly and accommodating - and has only spoken one word so far, otherwise remaining completely quiet.
The figure has appeared near the laundry room and in the front bedroom - and seems to be very welcoming to guests who are visiting his domicile.
Enjoy this historic and famously haunted cabin and please keep us posted with any sightings or experiences you may experience.
