The space was expansive, there was a bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. It had a private entrance. The host Onye was very responsive to requests and very friendly. The property is 2 blocks from the Long Island railroad station so it was very easy to go into Manhattan. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are numerous places nearby to eat and a short ride to Long Beach.I highly recommend this rental.

Excellent value. Spacious and well equipped basement apartment. Comfortable for 2 people on queen sized, comfortable bed. It was perfect for me to visit relatives in Oceanside and Long Beach. I would recommend to others and I would use this listing again.

My stay was perfect. Close to everything I needed. Two blocks from the train. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Quick communication. There is one flight of stairs to get to the apartment. Parking was convenient. Large, private space. I was even able to check in a little early. I highly recommend a stay here.

The property was clean and the AC worked well. The bathroom door did not close all the way and there was no where to put the toilet paper other than on the vanity. Also, the TV was confusing and should have included directions. It was not made entirely clear in the listing that this was the basement to a home. In addition, the hosts were pretty noisy. We heard every voice and footstep, starting at 6am.

The property was great. The property owner is very responsive if you have questions.Walking distance to train. Property was clean and well appointed. Washer and dryer great for longer stays. Full size refrigerator with freezer was convenient for bringing in groceries. Shopping close. Very pretty and safe neighborhood. I would recommend this property.

This property is a basement guest suite in a private home. There are people living upstairs with a child that is awake shortly after 6 am. There was a musty smell when we arrived but the air conditioning and dehumidifiers cleared it quickly. This is a no frills property with comfortable furnishings but few amenities. For example no paper towels or hand towels, no lamps or side tables so all lighting is from the dropped ceiling. It’s either too bright or too dark. We had to hang a towel on the bedroom window as the curtain was missing the second panel. The investment of 100 or less could make this a five star review.
