Cette maison de rêve privée du Montana, située au pied des pistes de ski, est située sur un terrain spacieux au sommet des pentes de la lune au voisinage de l’ascenseur Challenger.  Vivez la vie VIP à l'altitude!  Idéal pour les familles nombreuses (ou multiples), les grands groupes ou les couples de 5 à 6 personnes en vacances, ce château de 4 500 pieds carrés dispose de beaucoup d’espaces bien aménagés pour se rassembler ou s’étendre en toute élégance.  Grand et luxueux, mais confortable et rustique, pincez-vous, cet endroit est réel.  Plongez dans la piscine en vous relaxant dans le bain à remous extérieur ou admirez le magnifique coucher de soleil sur le sommet en vous relaxant sur la vaste terrasse.  Prenez tout dans.  Magnifiquement isolée mais toujours suffisamment proche de l'action, à seulement 45 miles de West Yellowstone, cette retraite alpine majestueuse constitue un point de départ inspiré pour tous les jours de la journée!


Accès skieur: les remontées mécaniques Iron Horse et Pony Express doivent ouvrir le 9 décembre. Les autres remontées mécaniques de Moonlight doivent ouvrir le 15 décembre.

Ski Out:
Prenez le sentier d'accès damé du côté ouest de la maison. Cet accès est situé directement à l'extérieur du local à skis. Le sentier vous mènera à l'arrière de la propriété et vous connectera à l'accès des tunnels jumeaux. Suivez cet accès directement vers l'ascenseur Pony Express. (Accès vert)
Ski In:
Depuis Big Sky, vous suivrez la route BRT en direction du Moonlight Basin. Ce sentier relie Blue Moon qui est le sentier qui vous ramène à la maison. Il y a une carte détaillée dans la maison qui montre l'itinéraire exact. Le chemin d'accès au large de Blue Moon à la maison vous ramène à la porte de la salle de ski. (Accès vert et bleu)

Beautiful Ski-In//Ski-Out Home!

Robin’s Nest accommodated our ski group of 10 perfectly. The location was a huge hit and the access was perfect for any level of skier. A previous review of this property on March 2016 gave us exact directions how to ski-in/ski-out for the first day. It was so easy to ski back to the house for lunch everyday before heading out for the afternoon and ending the day in the hot tub. The views were amazing! It was a quick drive back to the base to pick up any apres skiiers in our group from Montana Jacks, Westward Social or Scissorbills. Robin’s Nest had everything you could need in a luxury ski-in/ski-out home!

Family ski trip

Great house, well equipped...loved the fireplace...perfect for kids. Location was great but the ski schools were far from the house... you had to take 2 lifts and ski all the way across the mountain....if late for ski school you got put in a stragglers class. Loved the boot room!!! Limited cell service which made it difficult to correspond with the management team. No outdoor fire pit that was in the pictures..would have been nice to have while the kids were in the hot tub. Overall we had a great time making memories for life! Thank you for sharing your home!

Would stay here again!

We were 3 families with kids here for spring skiing. The house made it very convenient to come back for lunch. The ski-out access is via the back of the house. You can put your skis on right outside the mudroom and shuffle to the trail, or you can walk a few steps. In any case it is not strenuous at all. The ski-in can be a bit tricky, but luckily the property has a how-to video that you can watch. Both ski-in and ski-out are appropriate for little kids/beginners. Skiing in does require crossing a road, and by the end of out trip, the snow had melted on the road so we undid our skis there and walked a short distance. Again, nothing strenuous. The large mudroom and boot dryer were life-changing. Not sure we could ever do a ski vacation again without these amenities. House was clean and kitchen well stocked. A few maintenance issues were addressed by the property management company. The only hiccup we had was that the hot tub took closer to 2-3 days to warm up. Property management sent someone to look at it and they did not find anything wrong with it. Other than that, overall an excellent vacation. Would definitely come back!

Don't trust these property managers

While our overall stay at this property was fine, it was way over priced for what we received. The pictures were outdated online, so we paid a premium to have mostly a view of a roof. I've emailed the managers and I think they've updated the photos on the site now. Unfortunately, they refuse to give us a partial refund as requested, blaming our complaint upon smoke, which we didn't have until after about a week's stay there, which was not our complaint. Our complaint was that they had a picture online of no house in front, but beautiful mountains. When we arrived, we viewed mostly a large red roof. The house must have been built in years after, but they never updated the site with new pictures (false advertising). Everyone knows you pay a premium for views. I will be taking this up with VRBO and the Better Business Bureau if I have to, to get a refund. I've never had to do that in over 10 years of using VRBO...every other experience has been exceptional. This was not. The carpet and rugs are filthy and need to be replaced. We found a lego in the bed sheets, so I'm not sure they clean all the beds (our kids didn't bring any legos). The soaps were not filled in the showers. When the battery was low in the battery-operated door lock, nobody came to replace them, even though it was requested and they said they would, so we had to move them from a TV remote. Also, the door was left wide open when we arrived (which we notified them of right away) and another door was left completely unlocked. And the hot tub was not in great condition...the lift was broken, which we notified them of right away. Great house, needs updating. Management is poor. Disappointing.

Sylvia, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback of your recent stay with us. We are however disappointed to hear your dissatisfaction with the views and home condition at your arrival. Our priority at Big Sky Vacation Rentals are our guests and doing everything we can to deliver a wonderful vacation experience. Sadly, during your 10 days stay and several days later, we are just now hearing about this dissatisfaction as we would have loved to have a team member take a look while you were there to address your concerns head on. In regard to pricing, the prices of our homes are based on the size of the home and views are not factored into our revenue management. Transparency is very important to us, and we would have never published false information or pictures to mislead our guests. I reached out to our Operations Manager to see if we could review the pictures on the website and compare them to what the views currently are. The Operations Team went to the property yesterday to inspect. While it is true there is now a home to the back right of Robins Nest as well as some growth from the trees, there are still breathtaking views of the surrounding Spanish Peaks Mountain Range. The pictures that you shared with us failed to depict any of the surrounding views as it was solely focused on the back right of the home where the newly constructed home is. While this is not our typical review for the views at Robins Nest, it is still truly valued so I thank you again for taking the time to do so. As for the cleaning and arrival preparation, we are disheartened to hear that it was not up to our standards. We had to order a new hot tub arm that unfortunately did not arrive before the end of your stay, and our team members came out in the afternoon of the day you had reached out to us about the batteries. We will be making sure to address the cleaning issues with our cleaning vendor to ensure this doesn’t happen again as we strive to provide the best homes and experiences to our guests. Again, we apologize about the inconvenience and hope that you will allow us another opportunity to provide the level of Montana hospitality we are capable of providing. Sincerely, the BSVR Team

Great getaway

We had a great visit to Big Sky! Four couples were able to spread out among this beautiful home. Well appointed kitchen and bedrooms. It was a little far from trailheads and restaurants. It would be great during snow season, however.

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

Great size for our family. Beautiful scenery and very quiet. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Many of the family members enjoyed sitting in the hot tub.

big sky summer vacation

beautiful living room and dining area. bedrooms were very comfortable with excellent space as were the bathrooms. the location is a little high up the mountain so it takes a bit to get to and from either town center or the base of the resort. the back deck is not quite as scenic as the pictures look, but the spa is high end and still a great place to relax.
