Disappointed with lawn care

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived it looked like the lawn hadn’t been mowed in several weeks. We were not alone and several sites had extremely tall grass. We were there a week and lawn never go mowed. Also inside villa and porch sandy upon arrival. Picnic table on deck dirty and had smell of fish. Fishing line was found on porch. Also dirty linen still on porch from previous tenants

Love staying at Lakewood

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have usually had great experiences with rentals at Lakewood. 8102 is in a good location, easy to find, and now has a new washer & dryer (they both were broken when we tried to use them.) Although the problem was addressed promptly, the new appliances were not installed until the last couple days of our stay so unfortunately, I had to make several laundromat trips. The bathroom doors only met at the bottom so there was a gap which was a problem when privacy was desired. And one of the bathroom door had a broken catch. One of the large burners on the stove was not working and the others did not seem to heat correctly. The living room furniture was comfortable. There is one chair missing from the dining room table and one of the ones that is there is about to fall apart. Needless to say, this was not one of our better experiences.

Great location, Mediocre villa

Reviewer Comments: The villa is very outdated with siding and shutters cracking and pulling away from the house. The hose in the front to clean off with had a huge slice out of it and didn't work well. The furniture was older and uncomfortable (couch, chairs and beds).The washer and dryer didn't have doors to muffle the noise so we could only use them at certain times due to having younger children who nap and fall asleep early. The kitchen had an abudance of some utensils and sparce amounts of others. The bathtubs were extremely slippery and my kiddos fell twice as there weren't any anti-slip mats. The towels were very rough like sandpaper so I'd suggest bringing your own. The kitchen table and chairs were falling apart, spindles pulling away and causing them to be unsteady. Overall not impressed for the money we spent, but the location was great and we vacationed with family so it worked.
