Admirals Quarters Inn Room 14, Boothbay Harbor: penthouse king suite with a balcony, sleeps 4

Room 14 is the original penthouse suite, on the second story with views of the harbor, the lighthouses, the islands and the open ocean.

The king bedroom has a wall of windows facing the water and an in-room fireplace, and a private balcony is a step away. A second room has a twin trundle bed for one or two more guests.

The private bath has a large walk-in glass shower. You can reach the suite through the main house or by private outdoor stairs to the back balcony.

Admirals Quarters Inn is a historic sea captain's home at 71 Commercial St, on the water in downtown Boothbay Harbor. It runs like a small Boothbay Harbor hotel, with a front desk, free parking, a shared guest kitchen and a harbor-view solarium, but it still feels like a home.

The location and ocean view were perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the whole experience felt easy and enjoyable from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area.Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable, pleasant place to stay in Boothbay!

The whole place is amazing; both "buildings" are amazing; comfortable, extremely clean, so "homey" with ample supplies of everything. The host "Jersey" as he likes to be called is a wonderfully personable, helpful, extremely positive person. He helps with reservations, meeting people, suggesting places to see and visit. The views from everywhere are gorgeous!! The town with all shops and restaurants are right there.Amazing visit, wish we could have stayed longer.

The property was spotless and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.The ocean view from our room was absolutely stunning. While I didn’t want to leave the property there was so much to see and do in this charming walkable town. You just have to see it for yourself. I can’t say enough good things about our host, Jersey. He was amazing! Warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly he makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. When he learned my husband liked a particular pastry, he made sure there were extras waiting for him the following morning. It was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected his attention to detail and commitment to his guests.I only wish I could find properties and hosts like this everywhere I travel. Having spent many years in hotel restaurant management, I truly appreciate people who hold themselves to a higher standard and understand that exceptional customer service is truly everything.
