We had a wonderful stay!! The location and the amenities were perfect. So many dining and entertainment options within walking distance. Thank you for having available wetsuits and water resources. They totally added to our family visit. We will definitely be using this location again. The best part was being a block and a half away from the beach, taking my cup of coffee and sitting on the beach, watching the waves, the surfers, and the fishermen, to start my morning. Parking was tricky and doable at the same time with a Crossover SUV. The rooftop patio was great for the times not spent at the beach or walking, because who wants to sit inside all day when the weather is perfect. We were also able to watch the Fireworks put on by Sea World both Saturday and Sunday night from the Rooftop Patio.

We stayed here for 4 nights with a family of 5 in December 2025. The home was excellent for our group. Pros: Steps from the beach, kitchen had everything we needed, family room and rooftop were great gathering areas, and the garage fit our SUV rental. Cons: Located right on the main road of mission beach which can be noisy, some issues with master shower drain, and we couldn't figure out how to light the fire on the rooftop. Note: We did not reach out to the host about any of these issues. Overall it was a great place. We would stay there again.

Stayed for a week with 4 travelers. Very nice stay. Good location, comfortable house. The house is located on the main road and it can get noisy at times however that’s also the vibe of the neighborhood. Would stay there again. The only heads up I would give is that the single garage is very small, which is typical of this neighborhood. If you have anything over a midsize car or a small SUV, you'll have quite the time trying to angle it in, especially if the parking space across the alley is occupied by the neighbor's car. I'm a very good parallel parker and it was quite the adventure getting a Pacifica mini-van backed in (both mirrors folded in with about an inch to spare each side, no space to open the driver door once in). Street parking is extremely limited and you need to watch street sweeping times. Fortunately, the gentleman who runs the Beach Market across the street gave us an excellent tip – go 2 Âœ blocks north to El Carmel Place and turn right. There is a free public parking lot about two blocks down in front of the marina that allows overnight parking. We ended up using that most days when we couldn’t find street parking and it worked like a charm.
