The Space:

Put up your feet and soak in the Florida sunshine at this Gulf-front condo in the Calypso Resort & Towers, where you'll enjoy sweeping views up and down the shores of Panama City Beach! Recent in-home improvements include new, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and updated shower doors. This beach-goer's retreat features a private balcony where you can watch the sunset each evening, an unbeatable location within a short stroll of Pier Park, and on-site amenities that include two lagoon-style swimming pools, a cabana bar, and a fitness center.



The Calypso Resort & Towers sits directly on the white sand of Panama City Beach, allowing you to spend your days swimming, kayaking, and collecting seashells. You'll be just around the corner from Pier Park, a local landmark that's home to 124 stores, a variety of restaurants, an IMAX theater, live music performances, laser tag, a Dave & Busters, and so much more. Bring your fishing pole over to the Russell-Fields Pier a few hundred feet west, catch a dolphin or sea lion show at Gulf World half a mile southeast, and end the day with a tropical drink or two at Sharky's Beachfront three-quarters of a mile southeast.

Guests may only use Tower 1 and Tower 2 amenities. There is a $60 parking/amenity fee that is charged for each vehicle up to 2 vehicle limit.

Perfect escape for mom and dad !!The view of the gulf was amazing.The room was spacious for two or three people and very clean. We loved that it was in close proximity to anything you could possibly want to do. All the staff were so friendly. The tiki bar downstairs was a hit. Great people and great service there. The fire pits downstairs by the pool was pretty cool to have. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place!

Easy check in and the condo was clean. Everything is close by so once you park your car in the parking garage across the street you can walk just about anywhere.

We had a great stay at our rental at the Calypso! The location was perfect, and the view was absolutely incredible. We did have a couple of hiccups — one night a carbon monoxide alarm started beeping from a dead battery, and another day a fire alarm fell off the wall and went off. Both woke us up, and when we called for service, we were told they couldn’t come until the next day. We ended up disabling the alarms ourselves. Probably not the owner’s fault, but still a bit inconvenient.Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this room again!

Nice Clean condo, very spacious, walking distance to pier park, Condo needs to update tv In master room and Needs a good mattress, bed frame seems to be broken- causing to squeak each time you move or just sat on bed. Other than that a good stay!

The condo was great, just off the elevator. I just loved the view from the 15th floor. The condo was very clean. Just a short walk to pier park and Donavan's bar. Customer service was very helpful when we needed them, so thank you for all your help. We would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing your place with us. A great place to see the ocean and relax.

Calypso Stay

The apartment was in the perfect area, it was just steps away from the beach, and a short walk to Pier Park! The apartment it’s self, we felt the couch needs to be replaced, and the mattress in the main bedroom needs to be replaced! Other than that we loved the apartment it had everything we needed already in there!

Checking in was a nightmare. Room was lovely, just needed a few improvements. Location was perfect. The only real problem was the checking in part, very poor procedure and instructions. After that, it was a great stay.

Lication and convenience was great. Property owner could have been a little more conscientious of comforts of the guest. No blankets are provided, shower handle comes loose and dishes in cabinets had caked on food.

Great location!

We love Calypso & usually stay here a few times a year…. First time working with Vacasa & I had a great experience! The room needs some love- the bed is uncomfortable, one of the sinks in the master bathroom wasn’t working properly & you definitely need to bring some extra blankets. I didn’t call abt the sink since we didn’t need it.

All about the views

The condo itself was nice, clean, and exactly as listed. I booked it because it had the bedroom with a balcony overlooking the gulf. While I was hesitant to book after reading previous reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the condo was and its proximity to restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. My only hiccup was getting to the to the condo which is no fault of the owners. There was as issues with the elevator that got sorted by the end of the night. I just relaxed at the tiki bar while waiting. I recommend this condo & I’ll definitely be booking again.

The condo itself is in a very good location. As for this rental unit, was very dated and furniture is very worn. Should have been replaced long ago.

New Years trip

Nice place but was told we would get link for parking day before check-in. Did not receive then spent hours on phone trying to talk to someone live on phone and through text couldn’t get any where. Finally they gave us a temporary parking pass and had to go see HOA manager next day to get straight.

Earned three stars due to location and view or would have rated lower. Unit in need of maintenance. Sheets were dirty, no soap, shampoo, coffee fillters or tissues. Told manager they said we had to provide our own. Annoying high pitched noise kept sounding off in laundry room.

Beautiful location for the perfect getaway

Loved the property and location. The view was absolutely amazing. Unit size was the perfect, comfortable bed and furniture and everything was very clean. The balcony off the bedroom was an added bonus and it was convenient right beside the elevators - Never had an issue waiting. Communication was easy so check in and out was a very simple process that I was worried about because I had never done VRBO before. They even brought us hangers right away when we didn’t have any. We did have an issue however with the air conditioning. First 2 days it was very cold then after that it quit working. Because it was over the weekend we had to wait several days for it to be repaired. Also one of the fire alarms kept beeping every 30 seconds for days until they sent someone to look at that. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. We loved everything else about it

Reviews aren’t accurate online

My husband and I were disappointed with this property. The furniture was dirty and run down. The balcony furniture needs to be replaced as it was rotted. Nothing was comfortable to sit on. The decor is dated. The condo has a queen size bed with an uncomfortable mattress that the sheets will not stay on. The bathroom with the toilet smells like urine. The reviews and pictures online are so deceiving.
