A magical spring break

We brought our family with three small children for spring break. It was an amazing time away! The house was clean, had all the necessities, great proximity to restaurants and things to do. What sold us on where to stay was the view and the experience. You can’t beat the short walk to the beach!!

Such a beautiful property! It was the perfect space for my husband and I with our 4 kiddos. The walk to the beach was a breeze and we loved waking up to the sight of the ocean from our bedroom windows. We will definitely be coming back!

Sweet family friendly beachfront spot

Clean, close to the water and perfectly setup for families with older and younger children. Our teens had a room and bathroom downstairs and the youngest could be close to us and have a shared bath . Baby gate provided made keeping everyone safe easy.

Nice 3bd 2.5ba on the beach away from the condos and public access. Has just what you need for a week or so. As others have mentioned, bring a blanket if you prefer bedding weight or added warmth as theb

The property was very nice and clean. Location is great and just a minute walk to the beach. The only problems with the property was that the oven didn't work, so we wasted money on food that we couldn't cook. Also, the tv's in two of the bedrooms didn't work. We did contact Vacasa about the oven and they were prompt to answer. But the oven was not fixed before we left. Overall would recommend and stay again.

We enjoyed our stay in this bright and clean beachfront home. The location can't be beat! Even if you need to beat the heat and stay indoors there is a great view both from the living room and master bedroom. There were a couple of things that I consider basic that were not included: hand soap and salt. There are plenty of dishes and cooking utensils but no spices or oil for cooking. The house would benefit from a little TLC as the oven and sink food disposal did not work and the dishwasher detergent tray was broken. Overall, this home is comfortable, spacious, and in a good location.

Great all around. Wish they actually had a gas grill like the listing said instead of an old broken charcoal grill. Other than that, fantastic!

Nice Location

This was a very nice property located at the mid point of 2 public access beaches. It was nice that it was the midpoint because there weren't many people on the beach other than those staying at the nearby homes. House had all the supplies we needed to prepare all of our meals. It's also a little bit away from the main hustle and bustle area of GS but also a short enough drive away to enjoy all that there was to offer. Everything was exactly as pictured. I would stay here again and recommend to other families.

Great location nice property

Stayed with my wife and 6 kids. Property was great. I was surprised that there were decent nonstick pans as that never happens at beach houses. VACASA was excellent responding almost immediately to text messages. The view from the balcony was perfect. The Air conditioner was great in the middle of july. Nothing to complain about, was a great place and would definitely return.

Learning experience

The property was great. Only bad experience was the people in other duplex had a dog. It jumped on our car and scratched all over the door. Will not stay where dogs are allowed for this reason.

Great Location

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but it appears that many of the concerns that were raised by previous guests have been addressed. The rental was clean and just as described in the photos. The carpet might be showing some wear and tear, but whatever shortcomings there may be are totally outweighed by the beauty of the beachside location. Loved being able to see and hear the waves from the deck. We had one minor issue with the oven and received an immediate response from Vacasa via text and someone came and took care of it within an hour on a Sunday morning.

Great beach house!

House is exactly as shown in pictures in listing. Close to restaurants and bars. Outstanding Gulf views and you can indeed see both sunrise and sunset. It was cold when we were there and the main level of the house never warmed up but the upstairs was very warm. The light at the top of the stairs did not work so getting into the house at night required use of cell phone flashlight. Otherwise everything was clean and perfect.

Wonderful location and fully stocked house

The house is beautifully located right on the beach. The central ac/heat works really well. The kitchen is fully stocked with all of the dishes you’ll ever need and then some. My only complaint would be the porch door is tough to close. We had to really pull on it and lock it for it to remain closed fully. And the downstairs bathroom door would not fully close or latch. Other than that, the house was great. The neighbors have a dog that barks at everything so don’t anticipate any peaceful naps. But the neighbors were friendly and their dog wasn’t a huge bother for us. I do highly recommend this property.

Perfect, away from people, place on the beach

Checked in and 1 of the rooms had a sheet rock repair going on.. (no biggie). Good communication with property group. Walk out the back door onto the beach. Plenty of deck room with chairs and umbrella. We were about 1/4mile from those high rises. You could count people on the beach at any givin time with 1 hand. (Off season). We will be back!

House was in perfect location. Loved that part. Pictures were accurate. Beach access was amazing.Cleanliness was a Huge Issue. There was black mold growing on AC vents. Very disturbing. No wash clothes. Walls and carpets needed cleaning. Dead bugs in light fixtures. Broken bathroom drawer. The bed spreads in each of the rooms was a sheet not an actual comforter. Management company notified immediately about mold. They came by and took pictures but never heard anything else from them. Very disappointed that management did not offer any remedy. Still charged a cleaning fee for house covered in mold.

Dissapointed but, okay overall

One prior review mentioned some concerns in September and none of these were addressed by our visit. Lots of areas were not very clean, several stains on carpet, on bedding, also. The unit next to us had better quality deck furniture, as well. Location, layout, ease of beach access, etc., are all awesome. If cleaner and better taken care of, would easily be a 5-star property. It's not given the amount of money we paid.

Nice Location

We have stayed in multiple places along Gulf Shores. This place was convenient and comfortable for six adults. The living room had seating for all of us during the evenings when we wanted to relax and watch a show. We loved the privacy of our deck and having our own little stretch of beach. The location was a perfect short drive to our favorite places to dine and shop! I would definitely recommend it for a great place to stay with family and friends. A few things that need a little work: The doors to the deck were very difficult to open and close. The blinds attached to those same doors wouldn't open (slide up) all the way so we had to look out at the view through blinds. The downstairs shower curtain is clear making it uncomfortable to share the bathroom if someone was showering! We experienced quite a storm and the house shook - I am sure this isn't uncommon, but something to be aware of if you stay during hurricane season. Overall this condo unit is a nice, enjoyable, convenient spot!
