Built in 1960 and beautifully renovated since, this lovely Wexler home is a wonderful example of the mid-century modern architecture that made Palm Springs famous. A clean, minimalist design carries throughout the living space, where you'll find original works of art, colorful tile work, and bright, sunny rooms that open to the lovely outdoors. Prepare breakfast each morning in a kitchen with stainless steel appliances and high-gloss cobalt cabinetry, and barbecue your lunches outside on the gas grill. As for your afternoons, you'll spend them swimming in the private pool, relaxing in the attached spa, and unwinding with a good book on the patio or in the bonus room. You'll love swimming in the refurbished pool on those hot summer days. Take advantage of the high-speed WiFi to post your favorite memories to your social media and stream your favorite movies and shows on the 60-inch smart TV in the living room.

This home is located in the El Rancho Vista neighborhood of Palm Springs, which enjoys easy access to downtown (less than three miles west) and Palm Springs International Airport (less than three miles south). Take a quick drive or bike ride over to Palm Canyon Drive, the main strip of downtown that's lined with popular restaurants, boutiques, art galleries, and all sorts of nightlife. We were excited to be at the Wexler, but we’re disappointed. Host never responded to any of my questions. I booked Wexler house because it had pool jacuzzi, however I was not able to use either. I called Vrbo who then told it was sold to casago. I had to call casago to ask about instructions to use jacuzzi. They informed me I did not give them 48 hrs prior to check in that I wanted to use pool/ jacuzzi for an additional cost of 73/day. I messaged host about checking information twice 48 hrs before and day of checking. No reply. I had to call casago to ask for check-in information twice the day of checkin. The primary bathroom has mildew/ mold. Guest bathroom shower very little water pressure mostly due to water residue build up in shower head hence no cleaning. The house is cute lots of potential with a nice backyard, but proper cleaning and maintenance is a must.

Save your money and go somewhere else

House was not what we expected. Pay a little more and stay at a much better house. This house is old and needs a lot of work done too it. Floor needs retailing . Showers the totaled are all broken. Bool needs a major face lift. Furniture all old and uncomfortable. Sad that anyone would rent this a vacation home.

Hi Sara, thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand the home may have needed a refresh, and we will discuss this with our team. Regarding the broken tiles, a few are missing from the master shower, and we’re working to find a suitable replacement; however, this does not affect the shower’s function. The flooring is concrete with painted cracks that can only be addressed by the owner grinding the floors down. The home is as shown in the photos, aside from the kitchen dining chairs, which are different. Also, please note that pool and spa heat is required for all our Coachella Valley homes, and we typically don’t offer heating during the summer due to the heat and safety concerns. We appreciate your input and thank you for staying with us.

The loud street traffic behind the home finally got quiet after 8pm. It would be a 5 star home with some upkeep. Over all ok for a short stay AC works great

Nice Getaway

Nice getaway The neighborhood is nice and quiet, and the house has all the necessities. The kitchen is well-appointed, and like a typical Wexler, there are many lounging/dining areas throughout the home and yard. We really enjoyed that there was some grass in the backyard, and the pool was a bit small but perfectly fine for 2 or 3 adults.

Very nice and pet friendly; great floor plan for entertaining. Stephanie came out and showed us how to use the TV and Spa and was very helpful and nice. The cold water valve for the kitchen sink was leaking the entire time and needs to be repaired.
