Bluff House est nichĂ© dans un parc urbain de 110 acres et se trouve Ă  quelques minutes de marche du village historique victorien de Ferndale. Ferndale a une grande architecture victorienne merveilleuse. En fait, toute la ville de Ferndale a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©signĂ©e comme un repĂšre de la Californie.

What a nice homey place. Quiet and comfortable. Lots of big windows with a great views. The entire property, the grounds, the location, just very open relaxing, with just the right amount of seclusion. Just the right amount of distance out of town, but still really quick and accessible.Sharon was great with communication. Made herself available via phone and text and was readily responsive. We’re gonna do it again

Beautiful, comfortable, characterful family house with great views and closeness to Ferndale Main st. The additional properties like the Library on the same lot were wonderful for extended family gathering.

Fantastic, rustic location. Easily within walking distance to town. My grandchildren had a great time. Lots of toys and games upstairs and the property had apple trees and room to roam. They had fun chasing wild turkeys and picking apples. We also saw several deer on the property. Highly recommend!

Ferndalle & Arcata

Really enjoyed 3 nights/4 days at this property. We were up for CalPoly graduation and managed to find time for the Arcata Marsh, Farmers Market, shopping at Holly Yashi jewelry, hiking the Ladybird Grove, touring the Cal Poly campus and an eco-cruise on the Madaket in Eureka. The house was very comfortable, easy to find, had everything we needed. Would definitely come back!

Wonderful place

We loved the farmhouse on the bluff. Wonderful property for a large family. We also rented the library suite and it was perfect for a couple with new baby to give them extra privacy. The house is an easy, short walk to down and the views are superb!! Loved it!

Absolutely amazing!!

If I can put more stars I would. Sylvia was an absolute amazing person to deal with regarding the property. She came to check on us to ensure we were good and had everything we needed. The house is absolutely amazing and perfect for 2 sets of families. If you like to walk in the morning the town is just like out of a set of Gilmore girls!! There are also 2 trails to walk!! Loved everything and cannot thank them enough.

Wonderful stay at the Bluff House

We had an amazing stay in Ferndale with our family. We ate meals together at the large dining table and enjoyed the relaxing views and singing birds. The hosts were excellent and everyone in town recommends them. Thank you for helping us have an excellent stay.

A warm and wonderful place

Our family loves everything about this property: its location, spaciousness, layout of rooms, beautiful dishes, lots of books, so many personal mementos and touches that it feels as if you are staying with a family, not a rented house.

Perfect family reunion!

We could not have found a better house to hold all the visiting kids and grandchildren for our family reunion to celebrate our parents 60th anniversary! Super convenient location just a short walk to Main Street and an easy drive to Centerville Beach that allowed us to take morning beach walks and return for amazing sunsets! The house had everything we needed and more. With the living room, the sunroom/dining room and the kitchen all open to each other, we had plenty of space for the teens and younger kids to have their own space but still have everyone close. And the fire pit was a great gathering place at the end of the day. We only wish we had more time in Ferndale to enjoy this beautiful home!

Great location and amenities

the place was very clean and accommodating as we were able to find whatever we needed. We enjoyed the great location on the country hill as we could easily walk to town and in the area. The views are nice and picturesque. It worked great for the family wedding we were in town for.

A fantasic home in an idyllic setting next to the walkable little town of Ferndale

This home exceeded our expectations in every way, from the unbelievably well-equipped large kitchen to the huge bank of windows that looks out on the small farm fields that surround the home and the other homes and barns nearby. We saw goats, a group of mature turkeys, lots of hawks and even the rare sight of a gray fox hopping across the field one afternoon. A very relaxing and roomy home that made a great centerpiece for our lasting family memories. Although the home is vintage, it was clean and very well maintained, and everything worked perfectly.

Such a Charmer!

Thank you, Sharon and Sylvia! We had a wonderful time at your property. My sister and her husband stayed in the Garden Suite below the Bluff House and were very comfy. We stayed in the Bluff House and enjoyed the close proximity to my niece's wedding at The Bluff- just a few miles down the road! And although we also rented the Library Suite, some family members weren't able to come so no one stayed there, but we enjoyed the attached gameroom and played some ping pong before the wedding! The entire property was beautiful- the photos don't capture all of its charm. We even enjoyed time with "Barnadette", the sweet kitty who roamed around outside. Thank you for making this property available and we look forward to coming back soon!

LOVE THE FARMHOUSE

This is our group's second stay at the Farmhouse and I would have given a Five Star rating if it weren't for the firmness of the upstairs queen bed. VERY hard and I'm getting too old ;-) Still, everything else about the property, including the owners, is TOP NOTCH!

Wedding - Party of 8

This Bluff house was roomy and interesting with all of the unique family history throughout the home. We came for a family wedding and the Ferndale Bluff house had adequate sleeping arrangements. We had plenty of space for the teenagers and the adults to visit when some of our Ferndale family came. The host were easy to communicate with as needed. We would recommend this property.
