Communication was good, check in easy. The air conditioner did not work. The house was 80-82 degrees the whole stay. The host responded quickly to the problem by sending a technician to look at the unit. He was not able to fix the unit. The only solution the host offered was to open the windows. She did not offer a discount due to the uncomfortable conditions however she did agree there should be one after I asked. She would not give an idea of what the discount would be until she heard from the cleaners, which had nothing to do with the air conditioner not working. She found something pink on the wall and sheet (eye shadow) said it washed off the wall but not the sheet and would be deducting the replacement cost of the sheet from the discount which was fine. Finally after asking 2 days in a row, she gives a long list of reasons she would not be giving a discount... Replacing the sheet, paying extra to the cleaners, how much VRBO gets, etc. Do not recommend.

We appreciate your response. We are very happy that you have shared these observations. Each item you listed has been taken into consideration and how to address issues so they never get repeated. You were our first guess so we were eager to be of service to you. Yes, the air conditioning did go out. We immediately called a repair person out. When they reported they were not able to fix it, you stated that your guest were going to get fans. I suggested opening the widows as a supplement to your next moves. When you informed me that you never came to the house. You were communicating with people in the house and me. I would have offered fans if you hadn't told me your family was going to get them. We are also proud that in your review although focused on the air conditioner, this means the house was clean and roomy for your guests. We will get the air working better than before, but we know we are still passionate about helping travelers rest in a comfy home before their next destination. Nothing will stop us from doing that and with your sentiments we will address those matters and continue to get better and better.
