Halfling Button Hunt
Keep your eyes sharp during your adventure and see if you can find the lost halfling buttons hidden all around the Shire Cottage. Some are easy.. Some are tricky..And a few may require a keen adventurer’s eye. Can your fellowship discover all 10?
The Green Dragon
Outside on the private balcony is a table and chairs for two, with terrific mountain views. The inside is being renovated.

Wildlife
Resident deer will treat you like family as long as you don't startle them too much!
Whole-house pest prevention, although there will still be critters around, which can add to the West Virginia charm
Plenty of sightings of eagles, deer, foxes, bunnies, turtles, turkeys, and more!

Important Notes
Events are not allowed and there is a strict limit of 8 guests sleeping on beds only. Parking is available for a MAXIMUM OF 5 CARS in the designated parking area only.

All TVs have complimentary HBO, Disney+, and Hulu subscriptions, as well as other preinstalled streaming applications and usb drives connected with the best fantasy movies. There are Alexas throughout the cottage to allow for smart home controls and music streaming with an unlimited subscription.

A security camera views the parking area only and Alexa devices can be disabled or unplugged if desired.

We can recommend local attractions like wine restaurants and wine tours, or hire a private chef.

Guest Access
Most areas inside are accessible to guests, except for the left side of the master bedroom closet. Outside, the property boundary is defined by the tree lines and the Green Dragon is only accessible on the outside due to renovations.

Parking
We have a long driveway and large designated parking area that comfortably fits up to 5 cars. Please only park in the designated area.
