Conveniently located a 5-minute walk from the Kachina Lift, you’ll have no trouble making first tracks in the fresh powder. Stroll to The Bavarian for an aprùs-ski meal or hike the Williams Lake Trail on summer days.



A unique highlight of the home, the glass-wall sunroom invites you to share elegant meals with gorgeous alpine views. Other features include an in-home ski storage room, custom metal accents, and a wood-burning fireplace.



LIVING AREA



Curl up in an armchair next to the wood-burning fireplace in the first living area. The second living area includes a big sectional and two armchairs.



Gather in the glass-wall sunroom, surrounded by gorgeous alpine scenery. The table seats six.



KITCHEN & DINING



Home chefs will be pleased to find a full suite of stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.



Share home-cooked meals around the table for eight in the dining area.



BED & BATH



This two-story home sleeps five guests in two bedrooms.



Sleep soundly in a king-size bed in the primary suite. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide excellent views. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower and includes an additional half bath that can be accessed from the living area.



The second bedroom is outfitted with three twin-size beds and a flat-screen smart TV. The en-suite bathroom boasts a double vanity, a deep soaking tub, and a walk-in shower.



EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS



Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer, a gas grill, and complimentary firewood. The ski storage room includes ski/snowboard hooks. An oxygen machine is available in the event of altitude sickness (this home is located at 10,000’ in elevation.



Parking is available for four cars in the driveway. Street parking is not permitted. Vehicles with all-wheel-drive are strongly recommended for winter access.



Shoe-free property; guests are asked to remove footwear at the entryway.

Taos Retreat

Relaxing ski vacation. The location is about 40 minutes from the ski area and is very close to town and shopping.

Incredibly comfortable furniture and beds, kitchen has everything you could think of and more, fireplaces were fantastic! Centrally located and easy drive to everything in Taos. Stayed for a snowmobile and ski week and were not disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was fully stocked with everything we needed! The beds were very comfy along with a short drive to town. The only down side would be the neighbors dogs barked quite a few times during the early hours of the day! Overall a wonderful stay

Lovely Home!

The home itself is beautiful and comfortable. We so enjoyed the large kitchen and welcoming living room. Bedrooms were perfect for 3 of us. Comfortable beds and large bedrooms. Great location...short walk to the new Taos Cow ice cream parlor and a short 5 min drive to town. I will definitely book this home again!

A Must-Stay!

My husband and I were thrilled with our stay. The home is beautiful and feels high-end yet comfortable, all at once. It’s just as advertised, and we arrived to a spotless clean. The pictures are very deceiving. The location of the VRBO was not what I expected. It's located in a neighborhood next to barking dogs. I was wanting something more secluded and out of town. Taos is not the place to stay. Red River and Taos Ski valley was what I was expecting. My bad for not doing a better job of researching the area.

While the day rate for this house is reasonable, by the time the required optioned are factored in, this home rate is doubled from the advertised rate. Nice, well appointed and comfortable.

Family vacation

I judge overnight stays on the level of comfort on the bed. The queen bed was perfect. Cozy, soft, plush and good linens. It was unclear the second bed was a Murphy bed in the original listing until after I got my email confirmation. That bed was perfect for little kids, but would’ve been a little too hard for me. Still cozy linens on that bed too! Place was well stocked with all the essentials including spices!

Beautify place located far from town

The house is very nice and well equipped. Located in a rural neighjboorhood several miles from town. Need a car to do anything. Communication with property manger was horrible. They did not respond to messages for weeks after they were submitted.

Beautiful Adobe House

Nicely decorated adobe house and completely equipped kitchen. Only a few problems- the neighbors have a little dog that barks continually. Nothing the owners can do but good to know ahead of time. Keeping the windows closed helps. And there is a high step into the kitchen that was not mentioned in the listing. Also a very awkward and difficult entry system. We hate that these problems exist because it is a beautiful house.

Convenient location

The house is beautiful. The decor design yard and fence are beautiful. Upon check in, I was asked about the cleanliness of the place, and I gave it a five. The next day, I noticed some minor things like the fans we're dusty in the bathroom. There looks like there was some prior water damage that maybe some mildew had been growing there, so it smelled a little musty. The accommodations for the kitchen were great, and so was the laundry availability. Some other visitors commented on barking dogs and I did have this experience in the middle of the night early morning hours on a couple of the nights, although temperatures outside were very cold so I don't know why anyone would leave there.Pets out in those conditions. There was snow, but it was not difficult to navigate. They salt the streets, so travel was fairly easy. There was a lot of construction i'm one of the main thoroughfares through town.So it was a little confusing on, actually getting to the place. Overall, it was comfortable private and exactly what I was looking for.

Relaxing Taos and place to chill

A custom pueblo to meet your vacation style and relaxation is found here. You have the ability to prepare full meals, or head to the great restaurants in town. The two fireplaces provide great ambiance for a cozy night in. The location, house amenities and space allow for a relaxing stay, a day hiking. shopping. or enjoying the surrounding culture.

Property was very nice and clean, however the private residence next door had a dog that barked all night. Very disturbing and did not sleep due to the constant barking. Would not recommend this to anyone.
