Beautiful house on top of a mountain. There are some PRO’s and CON’s that I will review here.PRO’s: the place is absolutely beautiful. The view from the back decks (top and bottom) are amazing, overlooking the Smokey Mountains. Just sitting and breathing the mountain air, while mindfully looking at the mountains is a great experience. The property itself is well kept and relatively modern with a rustic feel. The included amenities were nice for cooking our own meals. We had 8 adults and the house slept all just fine, with comfortable beds and furniture. The host was also great for communication for all our needs.CON’s: there was some dirt we needed to clean up when we arrived. The electric grill on the porch did not work. Note that you have to take your trash 15min away to a recycling center (this is okay - and is disclosed, but it is a distance and something to consider). However, with that said, the host was very accommodating and super helpful with any concerns we had. These are simple fixes for them, and should not deter your consideration from booking. OVERALL: I would recommend this host and property. I think it is worthy of FIVE STARS and, despite some minor shortcomings, it made for an all in all great family vacation in the mountains. Like some other reviewers have mentioned, the driveway is long and steep, but the view from the top definitely makes up for that!
