Un petit coin de paradis

'A Little Bit of Heaven' est une belle maison de vacances isolée nichée dans les Smoky Mountains près de l'extraction de pierres précieuses, le Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, de magnifiques cascades et des antiquités.

Cette maison a une vue depuis le pont qui vous coupera le souffle dans la journée et vous laissera impressionné la nuit. Les lumières lointaines de la ville de Franklin peuvent être appréciées tous les soirs depuis le pont. Cette propriété possède de magnifiques routes de campagne pour profiter d'une randonnée après le dîner, mais elle est proche et facile d'accès.

Nous avons construit cette maison en pensant aux vacances. Beaucoup de place pour tout le gang. Assez de stationnement pour tout le monde. Bien qu'il y ait beaucoup à faire dans les environs, vous pouvez passer toutes vos vacances et ne jamais quitter la montagne.

Il y a des animations pour toute la famille. Table de billard et ping-pong. Le dîner sur le pont est l'une de nos activités préférées. Venez découvrir ce qui fait la renommée des Great Smokey Mountains!

Everything was great about the stay. This place has plenty of room to spread out, and enjoy a lovely time in the NC mountains. And the views from the deck were amazing.

We had an amazing time!! The cabin was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. The view was incredible. We took all the kids and grands(13 of us) and had plenty of room. The game room was great. We had family space and separate spaces. It was perfect!
The cabin had a tree available. We set it up for our stay and hung my Christmas presents around it!

Hi Sonya, I am so glad our cabin met and exceeded your expectations. I think you did not mean the road but the driveway. The road is one of the better roads in the mountains. Our driveway is not a flatland driveway but then you would not get that fantastic view in a valley. I am sure once you got use to it it was easier to use. Thanks for staying with us.

Great place in the mountains

The house was great my young girls loved the basement with the game and the bunk bed. The view was amazing in the morninga seeing fog in the valley.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was clean, the beds were soft, and the views were incredible. Only a couple of cars passed the house each day, because the house sits in a gated community. The owner was easy to communicate with. We'll almost certainly be back!

We had a great stay here. The view from the back is amazing. The house was well supplied and had a lot of room. The basement was great with the ping pong and pool table. The owner did a good job communicating with us and was quick to respond to any questions.

Honeymoon & Bridal Party Trip

It was perfect! The owner communicated very well and both my husband and I don’t think the pictures do this property justice. It’s so peaceful and very very clean. The first week it was him and I spending our honeymoon together, then we invited our bridal party to join us. Everyone was so impressed with the property and there wasn’t a dull moment. Plenty of things to do both in and outside the house.

Wonderful in every way!

This is a hidden jewel. The house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and one 4yo. The view is amazing. The kitchen well stocked which means a lot because we actual cook a lot. I hope to be able to return again one day and will definitely suggest to friends.

NC Mountain Home outside Franklin

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very beautiful and quiet neighborhood in the mountains. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck enjoying the view while reading and playing games or cards. We used the outside gas grill and cooked out almost every evening meal. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Overall a very positive experience.

Beautiful vacation home

This home was lovely. The view was fantastic. The manager is wonderful. The house is well stocked and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One thing to know... The road to the house and the drive are very narrow. I would stay again, but it’s not for the faint of heart, those who don’t back well, or young drivers.

Thanks Shannon for the great review. Even the locals are impressed with the great view we have. Since this is our home I try to make each guests stay as if they were visiting us personally. I am always impressed when folks back down our driveway. I never back down and I am good at backing up. Our instructions give an easy way of going down normally. In the past I had a minivan and did not have any issues with the driveway. Particularly it does take some getting use to if you have never driven in the mountains before but it is a short learning curve.

Wonderful home

This property is great for entertaining with family. There's something for all ages! The driveway is a little tricky but nothing to be scared of. It's paved and smooth. The owners were so nice! Can't wait to book it again! If you're thinking of booking, do it, you won't regret this one.

Mining Trip 2023

This is the second time we have stayed at this home when we bringing our friends here in hunt for Rubies & Sapphires. The house is always ready , clean, and the view is awesome. There was s plenty of room for everyone. Thanks for sharing your home with us again.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

In the late 70's we helped our parents build their first NC Mountain home in Robinsville. After my father-in-law passed away we encouraged Mom to sell the Robinsiville home. It only took us a few years to realize how much we missed the beautiful NC Mountains. We decided that we were always taking day trips from remote Robinsville to Franklin where it seemed everything was happening. It only made sense to build the next house in the beautiful quaint town of Franklin. We took the plans from the original house and expanded it and made it a true NC home. We designed it to accommodate our own family reunions. There is plenty of space for the whole gang and lots to do right at the house or in the surrounding area. Our view will knock your socks off and secluded enough that you feel like you are the only ones on the mountain. We never intended to rent our home so this home is a little nicer than most, with Corian counter tops and upgraded appliances. We decided to share it with others as it was a shame to not have it used until we can be up there full time.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our favorite activities at our 'Little Bit of Heaven' is: Eating meals out on the deck and watching the sun set. Taking walks after dinner on the quiet road in front of the house.

I love challenging what ever guests or family to a game of pool in the evening. I must say my personal favorite is to wait until everyone has gone to bed and sit out on the deck and watch the lights of the town of Franklin. It is so quiet and the solitude is indescribable!!

We also like going to 'Picking on the Square' on Saturday nights in Franklin. We love going white water rafting on the Nantahala. Our goal is to learn to Fly Fish in the local streams. We also like finding new places to hike and my personal favorite is to photograph all the cool waterfalls in the area.
