Welcome to Stone House! Whether it be work or pleasure, your group can kick back and relax inside this roomy 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath home or on the back patio with a small fire or grilling out. Stone House is located in an inner city neighborhood near the Old Paper Mill. It is within walking distance to historic downtown and parks, within a mile or 2 of Chillicothe's amenities, dining, shopping,and local historical attractions.

I was hesitant to book this because of the few reviews but I’m glad I did. It is a freshly updated property in an old home. It is spacious, very clean, has new appliances and comfortable beds. We appreciated the snacks and waters left for us and would be comfortable booking this again if we were in town.

The Stone House was an excellent stay. It was exceptionally well stocked and all amenities were excellent. The only comment I have is that the "fenced in yard" where pets should be able to roam free frequently has cats roaming about. For our dog this made it so we still had to have her leashed in the backyard and she was constantly trying to chase the cats that were there. The location is close to downtown and was very convenient for us as we were in town for a wedding. The host was super friendly and we had no issues with check-in/out.I would recommend this stay to others passing through or staying for a few days.

Happy to hear you had an excellent stay! We have tried to ensure guests have all they need, and maybe some extras, while staying at Stone House. The home is located in the city and unfortunately, stray cats are a common occurence. We resided in the home for 27 years and have never encountered an issue with allowing our dogs to be leash free in the back yard. Normally if there were any cats, they would run upon hearing the door opening. The yard is surrounded by a 6 foot privacy fence and latched gates to ensure pets are safe from ecscape. We hope that in the future should you visit Chillicothe, you, and your dog, would stay with us again. We would love to have you both! Thank you for your review of our listing. Safe travels.

This house was perfect for our vacation needs. We were close to the Sugarloaf Mountain theater - which was the reason for our visit. The house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. I also loved that it was pet friendly because we were traveling with our dog.
