Lovely static caravan at a good location - we used it as a base to explore Inverness, Loch Ness, and Fort Augustus, at the start of our NC500 tour. We were super pleased with the specific location of this caravan on the site as it overlooks the golf course. It was fabulous weather so we sat out on the decking in the evenings and watched the golfers. It’s a 2 minute walk to a very quiet beach with beautiful, white sands - our dog loved it there. The caravan was very comfortable and had all the facilities, including an airfryer and a washer/dryer. The beds were comfortable enough and the bed linen and towels were lovely and white. There is a bar, swimming pool and other facilities on site (available for a charge), although I can’t comment on them as we didn’t use them. The only niggles I had were the airfryer wasn’t clean, the kitchen bin had dirt in the bottom, one worktop had crumbs on it when we arrived, and the shower head in one of the bathrooms wasn’t attached (the thread was worn) and when I switched the shower on the water pressure caused the shower head to fly off… despite these niggles I still gave it a 5 out of 5 overall. I messaged the owners via VRBO but never received a response. We would definitely stop at this specific caravan again in the future if we were doing the NC500 again.
