The cottage offers a pet dander-conscious and low-fragrance environment, thoughtfully suited for guests who may be sensitive to pet dander or strong fragrances.

The cottage features two beautifully appointed upstairs bedrooms. The serene Queen bedroom includes charming French doors opening onto a private patio with a small table and chairs, creating a quiet spot to enjoy morning coffee and birdsong.

The spacious King bedroom offers views toward the balcony, waterfront, and cottage dock across the road. Large windows fill the room with natural light while showcasing the peaceful coastal surroundings.

The fresh white tiled bathroom continues the relaxed coastal theme with bright finishes and thoughtful details.

The spacious recreation area located within the beautifully converted lower-level garage features ping-pong, foosball, billiards, and gathering spaces that open through large garage doors to water views, creating a memorable indoor-outdoor experience.

While Glen Cove Cottage feels wonderfully immersed in nature, it is conveniently located just 10–15 minutes from downtown Gig Harbor, where guests can enjoy waterfront dining, boutique shopping, marinas, galleries, and local attractions.

The cottage also serves as an excellent base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula, scenic state parks, beaches, hiking trails, and many of Washington’s most breathtaking landscapes.

DOCK & KAYAK USE

Complimentary dock access and kayak use are available for guest enjoyment. Kayaks are for adults 18 years and older only.

Prior to using the dock or kayaks, guests must complete and sign the required Dock and Kayak Liability Waiver. The waiver will be provided through a SmartWaiver link after booking and must be completed before access is granted.

Children are not permitted to use the kayaks. Children must be supervised at all times near the waterfront and must wear properly fitted life jackets while on the dock, shoreline, waterfront, or using any personal water equipment.

Waterfront Safety Notice:

The floating dock and shoreline are part of a natural marine environment. Mussels may be attached to the dock, and the shallow water contains oysters, barnacles, and shells that can be sharp. Water shoes are strongly recommended when exploring the shoreline or using the dock.

• Exterior security cameras monitor entrances, driveway, dock, and exterior areas. No interior cameras.
• Strictly non-smoking, non-vaping, and animal-free property due to severe homeowner allergies.
• Visitors must be approved in advance.
• Parties, events, and large gatherings are not permitted.
• The home is supplied by a private well with regularly tested drinking water.
• Heat pump and air conditioning provide year-round comfort.
• Quiet hours should be observed, particularly outdoors near the waterfront.

Families are welcome. A pack-and-play, fold-away crib, children’s books, and board games are available for guest use.

Children must be supervised at all times throughout the property and especially around the waterfront.

For stays longer than 14 nights, a mid-stay cleaning fee of $200 applies and includes fresh linens, towels, and cleaning of the kitchen, bathrooms, and floors.

PROPERTY LAYOUT

The upper portion of the property includes a detached ADU and associated outdoor areas that may become a separate short-term rental in the future. These spaces are not accessible to Glen Cove Cottage guests unless both properties are reserved together.
