Our dwelling place is sure to woo you during your stay whether it is for business, pleasure, or both! Our 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home has been referred to as the famous “Chip and Joanna” house or dreamy Restoration Hardware house. Even better is the location! A 3 minute walk places you in the heart of central downtown Gig Harbor where you can find quaint eateries, local shops, numerous parks overlooking the marina, and countless activities!
The space
THE ABODE
The master bedroom welcomes you with a Serta California King iMotion bed that allows you to set the perfect position for you! With a gas fireplace you can comfortably relax as you enjoy the large smart flat screen TV. The spa feel of the master bath greets you with an extra large soaking tub, waterfall faucet, candles, and adjustable lighting to set the mood.
The second bedroom includes a queen bed, large smart flat screen TV, large closet, and peekaboo views of Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound.
The second full bathroom awaits you with a wall to wall walk-in glass shower and a waterfall head faucet.
An open concept living, dining, and kitchen with double french doors to the outside patio allows for fun filled family time! The living room is tranquil with a gas fireplace and extra large smart flat screen TV. The large chef kitchen boasts two ovens, a gas stove, and endless dinning and cookware! You can appreciate the view of Mt. Rainer and the Puget Sound as you make your way around this luxurious kitchen.
The patio creates a serene area and has you covered with draping lights, a gas fire pit, and of course a BBQ! A well maintained yard awaits any kiddos who need to expend some energy! Enjoy the sunrise or sunset while looking at beautiful Mt. Rainier and the Puget Sound. You may not be the only residents as it is home to friendly northwest deer and hopping bunnies.
The private driveway allows for easy access to the front door where your vacation begins!

I highly recommend this home. Marcia responded immediately to all requests. The home is just lovely - so cozy, clean and the kitchen is very stocked and great to cook in. The beds are very comfortable. The location is wonderful as you can walk to the harbor and town. The back porch is perfect for relaxing and has a great view off to the side, where you can see a bit of the harbor and the pretty lights at night. A wonderful 10 star home.

The home was better equipped than any we have stayed in - ever. Extraordinarily clean and well stocked. The owner was “johnny on the Spot” available. We rented the home for family from Denmark and they were so happy with this choice.

Gig Harbor getaway!

What a wonderful property! The location is perfect--about a five minute walk to the harbor--and the house is absolutely charming. It's immaculate, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated. Marcia is the definition of a "Superhost," and she responded immediately to our questions. We highly recommend this home for your next stay in Gig Harbor!

Immaculate and beautifully decorated home in the heart of Gig Harbor. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen for when we felt like cooking in. Marcia thought of every detail .. and more! She was also very responsive to any questions I had about our stay. We relaxed by the gas fireplace in the main living area almost every night with our family..Very spacious and cozy! The giant tub and spa like bathroom in the master bedroom was glorious. We all fought over who was going to have that room. What we also liked was that the home was located so close to everything. We were able to walk to the harbor shops and most restaurants. You have got to try Brix 25 Restaurant for dinner and The Devoted Kiss Cafe (which had the most enormous and delicious biscuits I've ever had) Lots of cute gift shops along the harbor too.. my personal favorite is the Harbor Nest Gift Shop. All in all a wonderful stay. Can't wait to go back this upcoming summer!

Amazing Home!

Loved this house! Went for a mother/daughters weekend and just can’t say enough about this beautiful place. Everything was sparkling clean, accommodations were very comfortable, great location - easy access to everything. The kitchen was fabulous to cook in and a great gathering area too. Great House!

The house was exactly as advertised. It was super clean and was one of the best equipped VRBO houses we ever stayed in. Close to downtown Gig Harbor so the location was great for walking along the harbor. Marcia was a super host and when the BBQ needed propane, she had a guy there in just a few minutes who got it up and running. Thanks Marcia for a great stay!

Great Getaway

This beautiful home is a gem in Gig Harbor. It is impeccably decorated, extremely well equipped and conveniently located to downtown Gig Harbor, which is a gem itself. This home exceeded our expectations and Marcia was very easy to work with. We highly recommend this property, especially if you need two bedrooms and baths. The large gourmet kitchen is an added bonus.

Great property on one of the main streets just a couple blocks above the water. Nicely redone not too long ago. Kitchen and dining room are very open and well stocked. I don’t have one complaint!

Beautiful home

The house was just like the photos shown: clean, well-stocked, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. The location was fantastic: an easy to walk to the harbor and several near-by restaurants and you even had some views of the water. We chose to stay in and cook a couple of nights because the house was well-appointed and stocked with everything you need so it made it easy and felt like home! Communication with Marcia was also very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay here again if and when we visit in the future.

We’ve stayed at several VRBOs in the area in our years of going to the Hanger Clinic. This is by far the best. Beautiful home up off the road with easy to spot “runway” lights when coming home at night. A seven-minute walk to the Hanger Clinic, though, if you are there for the Hanger Clinic, walking may be an issue for you. Uber had an easy time picking you up, but their map was wrong in dropping you off. So, you must tell the driver to ignore the Uber map and put the address on their phone (or just tell them where to turn). There used to be a small grocery store near the house, but it closed. Easy Uber to Safeway or Fred Myers Grocery store. Easy walk to the harbor where there are fun shops and good places to eat. Very comfortable, well-maintained home with everything you need. Better cookware and utensils than most VRBOs. If you like to cook, this is the place to stay. TV has an HDMI cable so you can set up your computer and run your own Prime and Netflix and such. Good Wi-Fi. Great yard. It’s fun to watch the squirrels run around. Relaxing eating breakfast at the kitchen table looking out over the pretty town. Highly recommend this home.

The best of the of the best!! Gorgeous home, everything you could possibly need. Host answered all my questions promptly. It is a destination in and of itself. Great location, if I need to stay in Gig Hatbor again. I won’t hesitate to stay here!!
