Vaulted wooden-beamed ceilings and a dramatic two-story wall of windows fill the living area with natural light while showcasing the surrounding mountain beauty. Whether you are relaxing with family or enjoying time with friends, BearSlide Lodge was designed to help you slow down and make lasting memories.

Step outside to two levels of decks where you can swing or rock while listening to the sounds of nature. Unwind in the six-person hot tub after a day of hiking, shopping, or exploring the Smokies. Fire up the charcoal grill and enjoy dinner at the outdoor dining table while watching for wildlife.

Inside, the game area offers fun for all ages with pool, air hockey, foosball, darts, and a Pac-Man arcade. High-speed Wi-Fi and cable flat-screen TVs provide entertainment and convenience throughout your stay.

The well-stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, making meal preparation easy. A stackable washer and dryer allows you to return home with clean clothes.

Guests also enjoy access to the seasonal swimming pool and stocked fishing pond at Honeysuckle Meadows, located at the bottom of the road.

Please remember that our pets may act out of character in a new environment. Please bring a kennel or enclosure to house your pet when you are not in the cabin with them. Also, pets should avoid resting on the furniture.

Everything was great, beautiful place and amazing views! Hot tub & games were great! We seen several bears ! Master bedroom mattress needs updated as it sinks horribly in the middle!We plan to stay here again !! Highly recommend

The cabin itself was nice, however, when we walked in the door, there was a bad smell and it did not smell as if it had been cleaned at all. I sent photos to housekeeping, and they sent someone out at 9pm at night(with our permission) to clean it. They did address a couple of things, it was still a very dusty and not well cleaned. The wood floors had not been cleaned or mopped, the blinds had a very thick layer of dust on them. In the master bedroom, the bed was pushed up against the windows with VERY dusty blinds right at your head where you slept. The cleaners that they sent right after we checked in, slapped at the blinds in the living room with a cleaning rag, rather that clean them properly. I sent a photo of the dirt under the couch to housekeeping, and mentioned this to the cleaner, and it was still not cleaned. The porches had not been swept. There was a cob web on the swing, that I had sent a photo to housekeeping about, and they still missed cleaning it. All of the big windows and doors to the amazing view were dirty and I mentioned that to housekeeping as well, but they were still dirty after the cleaners attemped to clean them. Housekeeping never followed up to make sure the house had been cleaned properly. I also think they should mention that the drive to the cabin is on very narrow steep roads. The Kitchen was well equipped with everything yo would need to make meals.

We are glad you enjoyed the cabin itself, the views, and the well-equipped kitchen. We do take cleaning concerns seriously, which is why, after you contacted us upon arrival, our housekeeping team responded that same evening at approximately 9:00 PM to address the items you reported. We certainly acknowledge that there were areas that could have received additional attention, and we have addressed those concerns with our cleaning team. That said, after reviewing the photos provided, we do feel some context is important. Several of the images were extremely close-up photos showing very small amounts of dust or debris, including minor dust on individual blind slats, areas behind furnishings or picture frames, a spot less than half an inch in size on a transition piece, and outdoor debris on the porches. Our cabins are located in the mountains, where wind, birds, insects, pollen, and surrounding nature can quickly affect exterior spaces even after they have been cleaned. We absolutely expect our homes to be properly cleaned and prepared for every guest, but we also want future guests reading this review to understand that this review is not representative of the overall condition of the cabin upon arrival. We will review how the access to this property is described to ensure guests are appropriately prepared for the mountain setting

Very clean and accommodating. Many essentials available in cabin which helped tremendously. The views were outstanding from the top deck and the hot tub was an added plus!
