À propos de cet hébergement
Comfortable chalet at 1900m directly on the 4 Vallees piste
Our chalet is built in the traditional style using larch timber and is very comfortably and cosily furnished. The chalet comprises two separate units: ‘Chalet Campanula’, which has a ground floor and attic, a balcony and an entrance terrace, as shown in the photos, and ‘Apartment Campanula’, the ‘studio’ flat in the basement. Chalet Campanula and Apartment Campanula can only be rented separately.
Chalet Campanula in winter: Our house is situated directly on the slopes of the 4-Valley ski region, on a sunny terrace at 1,900 metres. From our house, you have a magnificent panoramic view of the Valais four-thousand-metre peaks. You can strap on your skis right outside the front door and ski down the approximately 100 metres to the Etherolla ski lift run. There, you can board the Etherolla chairlift, which takes you up to an altitude of 2,500 metres. From there, you have a choice: the Muraz slope – one of the most beautiful in the area – either via the piste or through deep snow back to the chalet; the FIS run down to Veysonnaz, Haute Nendaz and Mt Fort at 3,330 metres – or from Greppon Blanc, a free run of around 1,500 metres in altitude down to Leteyon at the very bottom of the valley, where you can catch an hourly bus back to the ski area.
The ‘La Printze’ ski pass, which is valid for Thyon, Les Collons, Veysonnaz, Siviez and Haute Nendaz, is significantly cheaper than the 4 Vallées pass. A day pass add-on to ‘La Printze’ for Mt Fort and Verbier costs approx. 20 SFr
Chalet Campanula in summer and autumn: In summer and autumn, you can set off from the chalet on a wide variety of wonderful high-altitude and valley hikes of all levels of difficulty, e.g. to Lac de Dix, the largest reservoir in the Alps. We ourselves go on long and short hiking tours starting from the chalet for over 14 days in the summer, without having to use the car. There are a whole range of mountain restaurants you can stop at on your walks. The chalet is essentially fully self-catering, which makes for an exceptionally good-value holiday. Prices in the restaurants, even in the village, are quite reasonable by Swiss standards.
The Veysonnaz cable car and the Trabanta Lift in Les Collons are open for almost the whole summer. Mountain bikes and downhill scooters can also be brought along. Specially prepared trails are available for downhill rides. The local tourist office goes to great lengths to spoil you with a wide variety of holiday offers.
From the spacious balcony, you can even have breakfast on warm, sunny winter days (March/April) whilst enjoying the unique view of the Valais 4,000-metre peaks, such as the Dent Blanche, Zinal Rothorn and Weißhorn. Across the Rhône Valley, you can see the Swiss Central Massif with the 4,000-metre peaks of the Mönch and the Jungfrau. On the open side of the mountain, you can enjoy the terrace – which is wonderfully sheltered from the wind by the annexe – for sunbathing, barbecuing and dining.
