This single-floor condo is located in the 'circa 1887' Jarvis building on Main Avenue, right in the midst of old town Durango. Relax on the back patio as the historic narrow Gauge Train passes by, take an easy stroll to the farmers market (two blocks south) or perhaps a brisk walk or bike ride along the Animas River Trail (two blocks west). Then hop in the car for an unforgettable day of outdoor adventure at Purgatory Resort (27 miles north) or Mesa Verde National Park (35 miles west).

Freshly remodeled with all new furnishings and fixtures, the bright & inviting living space offers comfort and luxury in a decidedly relaxed atmosphere. Spend restful nights on the king-size Beautyrest mattress, or enjoy the option of a queen-size memory foam sleeper sofa. We had a wonderful the proximity of all Durango has to offer masses our stay more no driving no parking. Awesome! Apartment was clean well equipped and cozy. We even watched the polar express pass by!

This is an updated apartment within a historic building in the bear of Durango. The location is perfect for getting around town and the place was recently renovated. The bed was very comfy and so appreciated after long, active days!

Location was great. Place could use a refresh. The big complaint was lack of info on how to get into the unit after hours. The bldg is supposed to lock at 7pm and on 3 occasions it was locked around 5pm. We did have a key to access back of bldg. But we did not take it with us one day as we were returning way before 7pm one night. AFTER 3 nights there we were finally told how to access the key fob that allowed us entry into the bldg. This information should be given to guests. If the bldg posts it locks front door from 7 am - 7 pm then THOSE should be the hours!

Fantastic stay!

This is the perfect location for a couple .... walking distance to everything in town, parking across the street. And the condo was well furnished with a comfortable bed. We will definitely stay again!
