With the gondola at Steamboat Ski Resort only a short walk (or a free winter shuttle ride) away, this two-bedroom condo at EagleRidge Lodge will bring both comfort and convenience to your next Colorado vacation. Step inside after a day spent skiing or mountain biking to find hardwood floors, an inviting living space accented by a gas-powered fireplace, and glass doors that lead out to a private patio. Toss your damp clothes in the private washer/dryer, settle in in front of one of the three flatscreen TVs (one in the living room and one in each bedroom) and DVD player, or take advantage of the property's many resort-style amenities, including a heated swimming pool, hot tubs, a firepit, a fitness center, a steam room, massage services, and a winter shuttle that can connect you to Steamboat's countless attractions.

This condo is part of the EagleRidge Lodge in Steamboat Springs, a complex that's ideally positioned just a quarter-mile stroll from the gondola at Steamboat Ski Resort. In the winter months, the resort offers 18 ski lifts, 169 trails, and 2,965 acres of skiable terrain, highlighted by the gladed areas of Pioneer Ridge and Sunshine and Storm Peaks. Come summertime, you can easily go mountain biking or hiking, take strolls through the Yampa River Botanic Park (two miles northwest), or ride your bike along the famous Yampa River Core Trail, a 7.5-mile, paved path that runs through the heart of Steamboat Springs. Downtown Steamboat Springs, which is home to the Old Town Hot Springs and wonderful restaurants that include The Laundry, Salt and Lime, and Carl's Tavern, is three miles north. You'll also be five miles south of Fish Creek Falls, 10 miles south of Strawberry Park Hot Springs, and 30 miles south of Steamboat Lake State Park.

Nicely furnished condo. The hot tub was great. Bus shuttle service to the ski hill and downtown was very convenient. Staff were excellent. Would certainly stay there again.

Spring Break

The location can't be beat and you can get anywhere with the shuttle service provided. Walk to the base area is about 5-7 minutes and about 2 minutes to Wild Plum and pizza / bar. The only downside of the unit (besides no dresser which isn't a big deal) is it tends to be noisy in the morning as it seems to be under the stairs so lots of loud ski boots... the bedroom windows are right by the main entrance as well. For ski vaca typically your up anyway but in case you like to sleep in - you won't ;)

Expect more for the money

Enjoyed the location and shuttle service. For the money, expect dressers in the rooms. We lived out of our suitcases on the floor. Also expect a king bed to have reading lamps and tables on both sides of the bed. Fireplace pilot had to be re-lit 3 separate times which was inconvenient. Also master tub was clogged and I stood in above ankle deep water for my shower, which took overnight to drain. They did fix it promptly after we called that in.

Kari, thank you for providing us with your feedback. We are sorry to hear the home did not meet your expectations and we appreciate your valuable suggestions for improvement. The room only has space for one dresser or it would be difficult for our guests to move around. We apologize for the clogged drain. The maintenance team took care of that request right away and after your departure we had the maintenance team go in and use a snake to adequately remove anything causing the water not to drain. The pilot light in that unit was not working and we ordered a new insert to be installed. We hope we can have another chance to impress you!

Nice

Nice condo. Rooms big enough, but no dressers. TVs also via dish network so can't access Netflix, etc. Probably max capacity should be 4 but could cram in 2 more on pull out.

Location to the base was very convenient. Staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. Also, the transportation to and from the base and downtown was extremely efficient and convenient.
