Please note we do have free-roaming barn cats on the premises.  They are working barn cats and help keep the rodent population under control as we are next to a field of corn/soybeans.   The younger ones are very skittish and not socialized like house pets, so they will likely keep their distance.  The momma cat is a tad more friendly and may let you pet her .  They do not enter the guest accommodations, but you may see them around the barn.

We loved and enjoyed our stay here! The outdoor space is beautiful and peaceful. The inside was so well planned out with lots of cute tiny touches that made it feel so welcoming! We will definitely be returning!

My family of 8 enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was seamless and we even tried one the restaurants suggested by the host in their handy guide. It was only minutes away from town. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for some where to stay that is close to the amusement park for a larger family.

This is the cutest country retreat less than 10 min from holiday world. The house is beautifully decorated and kitchen was easy to navigate. The owner was super responsive. The master bedroom is gorgeous!!

It is a beautiful property. AI must have done the description for number of beds that was originally listed because it marked one of the rooms as having more beds, but this was noted to the host on our arrival and was fixed for future patrons. We made it work for the people we had and it was still a great time. Everything was clean and it was only 5 minutes from Holiday World. We would stay here again in the future.

The property was perfect for our family of 4. The host was very accommodating and immediately helped us with a few minor things we needed. They are very responsive and willing to help!The kids loved the ping pong table and hangout area in the basement. They also loved having their own room. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This stay exceeded all our expectations! The property was perfect for our family (2 adults, 3 kids) and the kids are already asking when we can come back. The proximity to Holiday World is perfect. In addition to the property being very clean and well kept, it is just so warm and welcoming. The hosts included ingredients for smores which the kids were so excited for. They were also in love with the barn cats who were very friendly and entertaining to watch. The beds/bedding are all comfortable and very clean. The master shower is so nice! There is a big tub if you wanted to bring anything for a bubble bath. The basement has ping pong, darts, and bumper pool, as well as plenty of room for watching a movie. Check in and out was super easy, host is very friendly and responds quickly to questions. If you are considering staying here don’t hesitate it is absolutely worth it. We’re already planning our trip next year!

Only gave this 4 stars for a couple reasons. First was the address on VRBO is incorrect so we had a hard time finding the place at night. Second was the dishwasher was broken and we weren't told that in advance and there was no sign on it or anything to that affect. We wouldn't have been frustrated had we known about it. I have discussed both issues with owner which he said he would look into. Other than that, property was 10 minutes from Holiday World and perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 kids! Will likely stay here again next year if its available!

Thank you for your feedback! We are so sorry to hear you had difficulty finding the property. We did look into this and the address is actually correct on the website however we did find that a couple of mapping services in fact send you to the wrong location. We have begun sending guests this information to discourage any further issues as we hate to hear things like this happened to our guests. We also want to apologize about the dishwasher. That was an oversight on our end. We had this break down on our busiest weeks and unfortunately it was not communicated to you and we take full responsibility for it. We deeply apologize!

We absolutely loved this property! It was very close to local amenities like Holiday World and Santa’s candy shop. The property was immaculately maintained and well decorated. The beds were comfortable, showers were hot, and little added touches like the s'mores supplies were a great surprise! My small boys (5 and 2) shared the kid’s room and we loved that the house had a few toys for the kids to enjoy. The floor bed and bunk bed with a top tent were a huge hit. The stairs to the basement were baby proofed with a sturdy locking gate for added safety. The host responded to any messages immediately and really seemed to care about whether we were happy and satisfied with the property. The property itself was tucked back far from the road and was so peaceful and quiet. There is a lot of yard to enjoy and let kids run around and play safely. I highly recommend this property, especially to a family with young kids. We will definitely be using this property again in the future!
