The house offers plenty of sleeping space for 12, 2.5 baths, a large kitchen, living room area, and laundry. This location has the most charming outdoor area. After a long-day of fun at the many activities in the Spencer County area you can have dinner inside or out with the large covered picnic table, gas grill, fire pit and star lights for a evening of memories. Great location next to Lincoln boyhood home and 10 minutes to Holiday World. We loved the space in the home and extra pull-out beds. Nice big backyard- we enjoyed the fire pit and swing!

Family getaway to Holiday World

There was lots of room for our family to spread out, easy check in, and conveniently located near Holiday World. I was concerned that some of the bar stools and kitchen chairs would break while sitting on them due to wear. The outdoor grill did not work, so we couldn’t grill out. We enjoyed ourselves and had a great time.

Fun At the Family Oasis

We had a great time playing Cornhole and board games, plus had a fire one night to check out the stars! Plenty of space for 6 adults, with 3 bathrooms (when needed!). Really short drive to Holiday World and Splash-n-Safari!

Great for our family

Overall it was a wonderful stay! We stayed as our entire family for our trip to Holiday World and used all the rooms and beds. There were linens provided for all beds (except for pillow cases) and plenty of towels for everyone! Just a heads up, if you do plan to come be sure to bring all your own shower supplies as no soaps/hair products were provided. The host was very responsive and it was a very smooth process! The location was great for our visit and do plan to return!

Everything was in good working order Tonya was great about allowing us to get in early. Communication was good. There were lots of games and family activities to do. The fire pit was amazing. The space was perfect for my three kids, their spouses and my grandchildren The place had three bathrooms, which was definitely a bonus with all the family. The location was perfect if you’re going to Holiday world. The home just needs a good deep clean including washing down the walls. The cabinets need to be washed out. The table centerpiece, and the tree in the family room just need to be removed. They are full of dust. It’s an older place. Not a bad thing. Just needs to be a little cleaner.

Holiday World Family Trip

We stayed two nights. It was easy to check in and out. There were some concerns that I shared with the host and she was very accepting of them. We would stay here again, hopefully for our next holiday world trip!

Our Friends First Holiday World trip

Great family place

We had a wonderful stay with our family ranging from adulthood to infant. They had everything we needed and more. The only problem was the pictures with the listing show a bunk which we were hoping to have and they had a twin with a trundle. Which eorked out finebut would have preferred the bunk bed.worked out fine

Family vacation

We enjoyed the amenities and closeness to Holiday World. The children loved playing in the big yard. The kitty was an added bonus! Gas station next door was useful. The children were a little disappointed because in pictures it showed bunk beds, but there weren't any. Overall though, it was a great stay and fun trip for all!

Perfect Location for Lincoln Amphitheater

Our band played at Lincoln Amphitheater and needed a local stay for some of the band and crew. This worked perfectly for our needs. The venue was literally just a few minutes down the road. The owner was responsive, everything was clean and we had plenty of places for people to sleep. The kitchen had pots/pans/dishes for the quick breakfast we made. And my two teenagers were absolutely thrilled to find there was a cat on the property. If we come back to Lincoln City we would definitely stay here again!

Family oasis

Having throw rugs on floors knowing they had not been washed in a while is not very sanitary. Bedding, blankets need to be washed. House needs to be deep cleaned. Surface looks good, but old and worn out. Air conditioner did not really keep house cool, however it was unseasonably hot during our stay. Yard was very nice but had no idea we were sitting on a highway. Saying it sleeps 12 people is very deceiving with trundle beds. You have to climb through the other bed to get out of your bed. Thank goodness our granddaughter is only four, would have been awkward to have an older child hooked to their parents bed. Or it should be advertised as trundle beds and an air mattress. I guess for the price this is what you get in or around Santa Claus, IN. We still had a great time, but would not rent this property again.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

I was raised near this property. My parents are just a few blocks away. It is a wonderful place to share with others. I lived away and moved back - just seeing the drive through Lincoln State Park is priceless. Holiday World, the Christmas Store, Santa's Stables are owned by people I know personally. My property is private. It offers a family environment but also great for friends to enjoy the outdoors together.
