The Space:

Enjoy a peaceful Western North Carolina escape at this peaceful Flat Rock retreat. Close to vineyards, hiking trails, gem mines, parks, and Henderson historic sites, this scenic home is perfect for a choice for a quiet country holiday. Lush, rolling views extend out to the Blue Ridge mountains in the distance and the entire property encompasses nearly five acres for plenty of privacy. Downtown Hendersonville is less than four miles from the home. The Carl Sandburg National Historic Site is five miles away. The main floor features vaulted ceilings, strong natural lighting, and an open-concept layout, with a wall-to-wall brick hearth fireplace serving as the centerpiece for cozy home gatherings. Everyone can settle in to stream shows and movies on the smart TV or head downstairs for some friendly fun and competition with a few games of foosball. When the stars come out, make your way outside to roast s'mores around the wood-burning firepit. The roomy full kitchen is ready and equipped to handle home cooking. The patio includes a gas grill and dining table for backyard barbecues. Each floor includes a dedicated desk for remote working convenience. Additional perks include free WiFi, central air-conditioning, and a private washer/dryer.

    Nice house

    Very nice house everything was great but the twin beds you could feel the springs not made for adults and when we got there the dryer was broken other then that great location and very nice house

    Great Location!

    This was a great property for us to stay in. It was clean and cozy. Our only issue was that there is only a full suze bed in the main bedroom and 2 twins in the sevond bedroom. It would be nice if the main bedroom had a queen. The glass porch was awesome and it was very easy to get in touch with managament. We would stay here again!

    Justus Haven is a true vacationer’s haven

    The house was clean and open. The rising sun brought bright sunshine in for a truly pleasant awakening to the day. The evening sunset views were incredible across the grassy field. The evening was a delightful experience being able to enjoy and catch the hundreds of fire flies. Our grandchildren had never experienced them before, thus making a very memorable vacation.

    Big fan of this house. The interior is comfortable and modern, yet also a bit of a charming throwback for 80s kids. Spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, great for families with the downstairs foosball and TV area, well outfitted for preparing and enjoying meals indoors or outdoors, and really conveniently located for a range of area amenities. Definitely keeping this house on my list for a future visit to the area.

    Lovely home, great view and very spacious

    The home was very welcoming! It is very cozy and all the rooms were very large! We never even used downstairs besides the spare bathroom down there! If I’m ever back in the area I’d love to stay again! We loved the picture windows with the view every morning! And the apple orchard right down the road is great! Got 1/2 a peck for 7 dollars and could hand pick and mix and match which ones we wanted!

    Charming house

    We rented the house to stay at Lake Junaluska for our nieces wedding. Our children were suppose to come with us, but had to work last minute, so it was just me and my husband. It was a lot of house for just the 2 of us. I Loved the sitting room off of the Bedroom. The house was very clean and well kept. We would stay again.

    Nice house with quiet location

    A great house for a low-key time with our guests. The downstairs toilet is under the stairs and on a platform. It had enough amenities for us, but the downstairs smart tv didn’t connect to wifi. Loved the proximity to the lake and walking path. Most of the house is on one level, but you still have to climb a half flight of stairs to get there from the front door. Great place for a getaway.
