Welcome to your Anchor Down - a beautifully renovated Coastal Colonial tucked away in Sandwich, Massachusetts. Newly Renovated in 2026, this spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests and is designed with families and group getaways in mind. From the stunning backyard oasis to the private pool house, every detail has been thoughtfully curated for relaxation, connection, and making memories.

The backyard is truly the star of the show. Spend your days lounging by the heated saltwater pool, soaking in the hot tub, playing yard games, or gathering around the gas fire pit after sunset. The pool house offers an additional hangout space with a sleeper sofa, TV, half bathroom, and indoor/outdoor bar, creating the perfect setup for entertaining.

We had the most wonderful time at Anchor Down. The home was furnished in a coastal yet refined design. Everything from the time we checked in until we left was phenomenal. The owners could not have been any kinder. They checked in to be sure we were enjoying our stay and if there was anything additional we needed. The home was spacious, comfortable and had every amenity we could have needed. Spotless! The garden and pool were wonderful to relax or play games in. We had the best experience and look forward to visiting again. 5 stars!

We intended to rent a luxurious family home our four generations could share comfortably and in which we could enjoy just cooking and eating and being together. We got exactly that. Quiet luxury, relaxed neighborhood, beautiful fenced ground, a loft hideout for our 20-something, and more. Well-equiped with a crib, high quality high chair, etc, all of which were in good shape and in which we were happy to put our precious babies. We made s'mores, great food on the grill, and loads of memories. Appliances are terrific (and with a lot of family members in a house, fridges, freezers, washer, dryer, etc. make things just easy and comfortable). So do loads of blankets towels, and pillows. In short, nothing felt skimpy or short. It felt luxurious and ready. The place is also really pretty. We had hired a photographer and opted to shoot everything right in the backyard. Finally, the owners are a family and they are a dream to work with. We highly recommend and, if we are lucky, look forward to coming back.
